I hiked up the staircases to the third floor, shaking with every step. Suddenly, something bit my leg, and I almost screamed. It was Felix. Syve was still in human form and was scowling at me.

“Really?!” Her whisper was as loud as a whisper could possibly get. It echoed through the third floor hallway, loud enough for anyone to hear, but nothing stirred in front of us.

After several moments of just standing there listening for motion, I turned swiftly to Syve and the other cats.

“How did they not hear that?! Where are they?!” I gestured to the large window and the shattered glass on the floor. The wound in my arm suddenly began to sting. I looked down and remembered that glass had cut me both on my arm and cheek.

Syve scoffed and gave me a large push, almost knocking me off my feet. I stumbled forward, around the corner and past the window. I shuddered.

“We can't interfere with your... dream,” Felix said, rubbing against my leg. “No matter what we do, there's nothing we can change or alter... We can only guide you through this... that's our job...”

I huffed, looking at the rest of the cats, then back to Felix. “Can they see you?”

“No,” Syve said sternly, “and hurry up, please, you're wasting time.”

I continued walking down the hallway, towards Mr. Emerson's room; however, I got cold feet and lunged myself into the Teacher Lounge, across from the girl's bathroom.

“Are you kidding me, right now?” Syve shouted, chasing after me and not leaving the door open so the cats could get in. They all morphed back into women and pushed the door open one by one. Mykah and Ashley quickly ran to the small refrigerator, gasping at the food, taking it out and lounging on the couch, stuffing their faces. “They're pathetic,” Syve muttered as Felix and Q.T went over to stop them. She then snapped back to me. “Now, listen here, Sigurd,” She sneered. “I don't like you or anything about you, but I'm going to give you a little piece of advice that is going to be very helpful: yes, you can only control water while in your dream, but what else can you do in dreams?”

I racked my brain, not coming up with anything. I was sweating from every pore in my body, and my hands were soaked; I couldn't think straight even if she wanted me to.

“You can CREATE, you idiot!” Syve growled. Her eyes suddenly began glowing red and her hair ruffled with anger. It looked like she was going to slap me. “You can make anything materialize out of the blue! As long as it's within the rules-.”

            “-Rules-?”

“-And be wary of what you think up... Anything that crosses your mind, however good or bad, will appear, again, if it's within the rules. So, don't let your mind wander-.”

Yet, my mind did wander. My mind wandered for five days. Before I knew it, I could no longer see the cat women. Syve had disappeared, and I grew obsessed with the beauty of Creation. And killing.

Immediately after Syve was done rambling about the dangers of my very own Dream World, I ordered them to leave me. As soon as they did, before I could control myself, the couches in the Teacher Lounge morphed into chairs of vines. Flowers bloomed all over the Lounge, and I heard a moan from the hallway. It sounded like my mother. I became intoxicated with it all. Like a disease.
