"Everyone gather up around the stage it's time to pick your homecoming king and queen!" Samuel Seabury said over the microphone.
Everyone gathered around the stage.
"Your homecoming queen is Angelica Schuyler!"
"Woohoo!" Everyone cheered.
"And your homecoming king, Thomas Jefferson."
Angelica and Thomas walked onto the stage to get their crowns.
After they were given their crowns Samuel announced that it was time for the annual homecoming king and queen dance.
The music started playing and the two started slow dancing. You could tell Angelica wasn't thrilled to dance with Thomas but Thomas was happy to dance with her cuz he's always had a crush on her.
Soon everyone else started dancing.
Peggy and John danced the night away and soon the dance was over.
Peggy and John waited outside the gym for the group and then everyone left.
The sisters got into Angelica's car.
"So how was everyone's night?" Eliza asked.
"Not how I expected." Peggy said.
"Fun." Angelica replied.
"See I told you it would be fun. I see you two ended up with different boys," Eliza curiously said.
"Yep. And I think we're all happy." Angelica said.
They got home and Peggy went up to her room. She took her hair out, washed off her makeup, and changed into a white shirt and yellow pj shorts.
Before going to sleep she texted John.
Peggy: I had fun tonight
John: me too!
She turned her phone off and put it on her nightstand screen down. She turned off her lamp and went to sleep.
I feel very productive today. Night!
