Peggy heard her phone buzz and looked over at it.
[Laf ❤️: hey babe]
Peggy texted him back
[hi]
Her phone buzzed again and saw that it was John.
[Turtle Boi: hey pegs. What you doing tonight you want to hang out?]
Peggy looked at the text for a few minutes and thought about what she should do. She liked John but everyone thought she was in a relationship with Lafayette. Even John didn't know about it. John had been her best friend since pre school.
[sure]
[Turtle boi: ok. I pick you up at your dorm at 7]
[Sounds good]
Peggy was excited but then she got a text from Lafayette.
[Lafayette ❤️: hey want to hang out tonight?]
"Oh shit" Peggy said. "I can't hang out with both of them tonight but Lafayette is my boyfriend but John asked first and I like him."
[Sorry. I already have plans with someone. Maybe tomorrow. 😘] she texted back.
Peggy looked at her clock which read 6:27. She decided she should get ready. She got up and put on a tight yellow crop top and high wasted jean shorts.
She heard a knock on her dorm door and went to go get it. It was John.
"Hey Peggy," John seemed excited. "You ready?"
"Yep!" Peggy grabs her purse and quickly puts her favorite pair of yellow flats on and walks out the door and locks it.
"So where are we going tonight?" She asked.
"I thought we can go bowling. You fine with that?"
"Ya." Peggy hadn't gone bowling in forever and was excited.
They got to the parking lot and hopped into John's car and drove to the bowling ally.
