/Anxiety's p.o.v./

"Why are we here again?" Patton asked as they walked through the empty darkness.

"Because." I responded.

"What I don't understand is why Depression made this whole plan to hurt us and Thomas, so he could die, if Thomas could just kill him already." Roman crossed his arms seeming to still be a bit salty about what had all went down.

"Perhaps that just wasn't good enough." Logan replied. "We can't exactly know the thought process of someone so messed up."

"Are you two not worried at all as to why we are here?" Patton asked.

"I trust Virg." Roman shrugged making my heart flutter a little.

"As do I. Although it is strange that you brought us after such a satisfying conclusion, Virgil." Logan replied.

"You'll see." I continued to walk them following me.

Conversation stopped and soon we began to hear the sound of crying. We approached the figure, who was curled on the ground.

He looked like Thomas. Paler skin, and wore jeans and a dark blue tee-shirt. His skin was smooth and clean.

I stopped in front of him. "Depression."

He jumped suddenly looking at me, he stopped crying and cowered away slightly. "No..."

"He isn't Depression yet..." Logan trailed off as he pondered. "He hasn't had an experience to change him."

"What's your name?" I asked kneeling down to him.

"Melancholy." He replied still watching me with out trust.

Patton gasped in excitement. "Melly!" He smiled as he created the new nickname.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Melly asked.

"We're friends to take you away from here." I replied. "It's dark and scary, You want to leave right?"

He nodded slightly.

I gave him a small smile, sensing the others smiling at him as well from behind me. "Then welcome to Thomas' personality." I held out a hand to him. "There's only one thing you need to know right now..."

You are never alone..."

He placed his pale hand in mine.

Hey guys, oh my flipping gosh this is already over? I'm just as shook as you that I finished this tbh! Usually I take a lot longer to write things, but this felt like it wasn't long at all. I posted the first part on Easter and that wasn't even five months ago! Also if your confused as to what just happened "Depression" was reborn but as what he started as, not what he ended up being (which is the version of him that died). And I should probably say this now, no this won't have a sequel. Not a full one at least... maybe I can write a oneshot/short-story with Melly living with the other sides if that's something you'd like. But no I will not really expand on this book anymore. I had the whole thing planned out from the beginning, and I showed what I needed to show with it I think. I like the way it ended, and it's not a perfect story, but I'm pretty proud, which is saying something cause I'm normally not. So sorry if you all wanted a sequel, but I feel it's better without one. If you like my writing feel free to stalk my profile, I'm part of many fandoms XD. Vote and comment, bye!
