How come love is pain but pain is not love?
How come we suffer the most in this world when we believe that word?
The game of heart gets played by the wrong person
And the other, is hurt in the midst.
Nobody can be human without love, but sometimes, it's better to be without love while being human.
Because love is pain but pain is not love
Our eyes cry for the wrong reason at times,
Sometimes for the right reason too, like finding the person you're destined to be with,
That one person who makes every moment of life worth living.
Giving your heart in return for happiness,
Chasing the stars but landing on the moon.
Gaining the courage to love without getting hurt
Not knowing that love is pain but pain is not love
Dreaming of the day to hold someone's hand close to the heart,
Just to feel the beat it brings
For the heart doesn't know what the mind believes
But being sure sometimes, is hard to please,
Just like the feeling of unreturned love.
Memories are created in the head and at the same time, illusions in the mind.
Illusions of love bringing pain, although pain is not love.
