Rain

Tiny droplets of water
Burst from the large grey figures above
Showers down to the ground
Making everything drizzle in wetness.
It goes on for hours
Creating small puddles of water
For children and cars to splash in.
But suddenly, the clouds part to go their separate ways
and the sky returns to its regular hue of blue
The plants and trees glistened in dampness under the sun's light
The rain has gone
And everything now becomes sparkly wet and bright.
