She had bittersweet eyes
With hair of lilac teardrops skimming down smoked skin
She waited patiently for the deep inferno to comfort her
But only found herself within celestial flames
Silver scars and cracked teeth
The ghostly wisps of her trailing footsteps
They resounded against the walls of sickening moonlight
But only found their echoes drowned by charred shadows
She had fire breath with golden hymns
A melody for the demised landscapes and cold ashes
She was alone in desolate daybreak and rogue sunlight
But only found solace in the forgotten, dried out heartbeats
