Venus P.O.V.

Two weeks later..

Since Mikey's and Raphael's fight things have been fine between them. Although Raph has made some snide remarks under his breath every now and then about how he should've won the fight. And Mikey was oblivious to it all, he's been acting like the fight didn't even happen. He says "it's fine now, you don't have to worry about it anymore". I don't really believe him, so I'm keeping an eye on Raph, just in case.

Donatello forgave me and has been teaching me how to read and write in english for the past two weeks. He says that I shouldn't even be able to learn this fast and but that I'm making great progress. He started teaching me some math, which is pretty easy if you've lived with the Kraang all of your life. And, no, I don't have that hunk of metal around my neck. Donnie took it off for me.

Leo has taught me a lot of sign language too. I've done pretty good in that, but I'd rather be doing something sciencey with Donnie, I don't care if I have to just hand stuff to him and listen to his science talk, it's more of my specialty than language.

Splinter has taught me how to defend myself and got me a wooden practice sword. I wasn't too keen on the idea, as I'd like to take the peaceful path rather than fighting, but I eventually gave in and have caught on pretty quickly. And when he mentioned about me getting a mask, Michelangelo decided that he wanted to pick the color, which leads us up to today.

I was sitting in the kitchen while Mikey "studied" my face.

"Hmm..." He walked around me, squinting in concentration when Donnie walked in.

"Uh, Mikey?"

Mikey didn't turn around. "Yes, D?" He stood in front of me stared at my eyes. He then randomly grabbed my face and squished it.

"What exactly are you doing?" Donnie crossed his arms and stared at him quizzically.

Mikey turned around. "I am trying to find the perfect mask color for Venus. Duh." Mikey said, squeezing my face more.

Donnie's gaze turned towards me. I shrugged and he turned his attention back to Mikey. "Well, I don't think squeezing the color out of her face is going to solve your problem."

Mikey turned toward me and saw how squished my face was. He immediately let go and laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry."

I waved my hand to tell him it was okay.

Donnie sighed as Mikey then pulled me beside him. Mikey then jerked Donatello's mask off all of a sudden and pulled it down over my head, tying it securely to my face.

"What are you doing now..?" Donnie huffed as Leo walked in.

"Seeing if Vee would look good in purple." He stepped back a few steps and squared his fingers.

"Um, guys." Leo shuffled inside more. "Can you move over a little so I can get into the fridge?"

"Yeah, sure." Donnie moved over to the counter and leaned against it. I took a few steps away from it towards Michelangelo, who suddenly gasped.

Before anyone could say anything, he ripped off the purple mask and yanked off Leo's and tied it on my face.

"Hey!" Leo shot daggers towards Mikey, but didn't do anything as he slid back over.

"Blue!" He exclaimed. "Blue is definitely your color. Maybe in a lighter shade though.."

Mikey started to pace the floor in thought as Donatello tied his mask back on and I handed Leo's back to him.
