Chapter 10

WARNING: Lots of back and forth P.O.V.'s in this chapter and maybe some feels along the way.

Michelangelo's P.O.V.

We ran through the tunnels together, even though I didn't know where we were going. I had a feeling she knows where to go.

I tried getting her to let go of my arm, but she was just too distracted by whatever she was thinking about.

Venus stopped in the middle of her tracks and looked around.

"Um, Vee?" I said, tentatively. "I know you can't talk or whatever, but it would be great to know where we're going."

She just looked at me excitedly, pulled me to a ladder, and started climbing.

Venus P.O.V.

I could sense them. They are close.

As I climbed the ladder, Mikey followed me, asking all sorts of questions.

I lifted the cover and climbed out. It was very bright and I had to shield my eyes from the bright thing in the sky.

"Vee!" Mikey climbed out and turned me around to look at him. "It's not safe up here in the day time, we need to go back in the sewers."

What? I can't just leave now! I'm so close, I could talk to them.

Talk to them! I could finally talk to some-Kraang!

I focused. Hello? Is Kraang there?

Kraang is in this place that you speak of. Kraang is close by with Kraang and Kraang will do the thing known as 'coming around the corner' with Kraang.

I smiled and looked behind Mikey as two Kraang in disguise as humans came around the corner. I looked behind me and saw two more.

Mikey turned around and got out his weapons. "Stay behind me, Vee."

What? What are you talking about?

The Kraang pulled out their weapons also. "Kraang wants the one known as the mutant turtle to hand over the one known as experiment number 2213 back to Kraang or you will be punished by Kraang."

I was starting to get worried. What's happening Kraang?

The one known as experiment number two-two-one-three was taken by Kraang's enemy, known as the mutant turtles. One of the Kraang answered behind me.

I felt sick.

They did this on purpose. They took me away.

I backed away from the mutant turtle known as Mikey.

He turned around and saw me backing away. "Vee, come back!" The mutant turtle said. "I don't want you to get hurt."

I shook my head no.

Mikey looked confused and sad at the same time. "Vee..?"

I stood behind the Kraang as they closed in on him.

Michelangelo's P.O.V.

"Vee..?" She looked terrified for some reason.

The Kraang started to close in on me. I could worry about Venus in a minute, I just had to take care of these dudes first.

I swung my nunchaku and went into my battle stance.

I kicked the Kraang in the middle that first showed up and then I jumped and did a kick-split (???) to the other twos' faces.

The ones' behind me, where Venus was, started to shoot at me.

I dodged the lasers easily and swung my nunchaku at the one to the left, then kicked the one on the right, and finally stabbed the one in the middle with my blade.

"Venus, come on! We have to get out of here before more come." I grabbed her arm and started to run, only to not go forward.

I looked back to see that she was just standing there. It seemed as if her feet were planted to the ground.

She looked horrified.

What do I say to a scared kid?? I thought. What do I do!

Just then, more Kraang appeared from around both corners. And there were more than last time!

I needed help!

Donatello P.O.V.

"Careful...." I told myself. "You can do this!.."

One drop, that's all I needed. No more. No less.

I concentrated on what I was doing. No distractions whatsoever.

"I got this-"

"Donnie!"

"AAGH!!"

The chemicals went flying everywhere! Most of it into the.. container!!

It started to bubble and shake.

Leo put his hand on my shoulder. "Donnie, we-"

"Get down!"

I pulled Leo to the floor as the chemicals exploded.

I got up and looked around. They were everywhere!

I sighed. Another mess I have to clean up in the lab and another experiment I would have to start over on.

"Sorry.." Leo rubbed the back of his neck.

"No, no it's fine." I turned around, keeping my cool. "What was it you were wanting?"

"Mikey's in trouble and the Kraang have Venus with them."

"What? Where?" I grabbed my staff that was on the floor.

He pointed up. "Up top."
