The Story of Dani

The Birthday Party

-Dani’s House-

I just got back from Finn’s house I look on the calendar and see that Santana’s birthday is tomorrow. I smile and text Rachel.

-Text Messages between Dani and Santana-

D: Hey Rach.

R: Hey D what’s up?

D: Did you know that it’s Santana’s birthday tomorrow?

R: Oh my God I totally forgot about it.

D: Well I didn’t. Can you help me with something?

R: Sure anything for you. :)

D: Sweet this is what I want you to do…

I start telling Rachel what I want her to do. After I tell her what to do I head to my room and get ready for bed I hit my bed and fall asleep.

-Outside – (Evening)

Santana and I are sitting on a park bench she is leaning against me I hear her sigh.

Dani: What’s wrong babe?

Santana: You seriously don’t know what day it is today?

Dani: It’s Saturday.

She looks at me with a hurt look.

Santana: I can’t believe that no one even remembered my birthday especially you my girlfriend.

Dani: I thought that your birthday wasn’t a big deal to you?

Santana: It’s not, but it would have been nice if at least you remembered it.

Santana sits up and crosses her arms my phone goes off I look at it New message from Rachel.

R: The plan is ready I repeat the plan is ready.

D: Great phase one is in motion.

I grab my crutches and wobble away Santana looks at me with a confused look.

Santana: Where are you going?

Dani: I’m tired of sitting here. Are you coming or not?

Santana: No I’m not.

Dani: All right suit yourself.

I continue to wobble away I go behind a building and meet Finn there. Finn looks from behind the building.

Finn: She’s heading this way.

Dani: Go to phase two.

Finn nods he moves out from behind the building. I hear them talking.

Santana: Oh hey Finn.

Finn: Hey San.

Santana: You didn’t happen to see Dani did you?

Finn: I think that she went home. Do you want to go look?

Santana: Sure.

I see them walk off I wobble out from behind the building my plan is working. Quinn pulls up to me with her car I get in and we head to Finn’s house.

-Finn’s House-

Quinn and I walk into Finn’s house I look around and smile there is a banner that says “Happy Birthday Santana!” There are also balloons with her name on them and streamers hanging from the ceiling. Rachel comes from the kitchen she holding two blow horns she hands one to me.
