The Story of Dani

New Room

-Santana’s Car-

I get done crying and I make sure that my eyes aren’t red I don’t want them to know that I was crying I really don’t like crying in front of people. We get out of the car and make our way to the house I walk into the house.

-Burt and Carole’s House-

Santana and I walk into the living room Kurt, Blaine, Finn, and Rachel are sitting on the couch when they see us they get up.

Kurt: It’s about time.

Dani: Sorry we were kind of…

Kurt: It doesn’t matter all that matters is that you are here now.

Dani: Yeah. Are you ready to show me my room?

Kurt: Yes but before we do put this blindfold on.

Finn puts a blindfold on me and I feel two people take my hands I’m guessing that it is Finn and Kurt they take downstairs.

-Downstairs-

I hear a door slide open huh I never seen a sliding door down here before I wonder when they put that in.

Kurt: All right you can take off your blindfold.

I take the blindfold off and gasp when I see the room. It is painted my favorite color purple and it has designs on it. There are built in shelves and I walk up to them and see a picture of my mom, Gabby, and me. I grab it and smile I feel tears coming but I squeeze my eyes so that I don’t start crying. I have a queen sized bed which is perfect. There are end tables on each side of the bed there is a picture of me and Santana together next to the bed I smile. I have a chair in the corner with a table next to it with a bookshelf with books on it. I also have a computer desk with my laptop on it. I continue to look around I see a picture of Finn, Rachel, Santana, and I we are goofing off.

Dani: This is when we went to regionals.

Finn: Yeah Kurt took it when we weren’t looking.

Dani: I love it.

I turn around when I hear Burt’s voice Burt and Carole are standing in the doorway.

Burt: I hope that you like the room.

Dani: I don’t like it I love it.

I walk up to them and hug them.

Dani: Thank you mom and dad.

Carole: You just called us mom and dad.

Dani: Oh uh I mean…

Burt: And that’s okay.

Burt smiles and pulls me into a hug Carole joins us so does Finn and Kurt.

Carole: There is only one rule.

Dani: Okay.

Burt: When Santana is over the door stays open the same rule applies to Finn and Kurt when they have Rachel and Blaine over.

Dani: Of course.

I hug them again, they leave and leave Kurt, Blaine, Rachel, Finn, Santana, and I in my new room.

Dani: Thank you Kurt this room is awesome.

Kurt: You’re welcome Dani.

I hug Kurt he hugs me back. I sit on my bed Santana sits in between my legs and leans back I put my arms around her. Rachel and Finn sit on the bottom of the bed, Kurt sits in the chair in the corner Blaine sits on the computer chair. After about an hour everyone leaves including Santana. I’m getting ready for bed when I hear a knock on the door I walk to it and answer it.
