The Story of Dani

Senior Year

-Dani’s (POV)-

-Burt and Carole’s House- (Morning)

I walk into the kitchen mom and dad are at the table I get myself some juice. Dad looks up from the newspaper.

Burt: Morning Dani.

Dani: Morning dad.

Burt: Are you ready for your first day of school today?

Dani: Yeah. I just can’t believe that I am a senior.

Finn walks into the kitchen.

Finn: I can’t believe that we are seniors either. Are you going to try out for football this year D?

Dani: I don’t think that I want to join football this year.

Finn: Awe how come?

Dani: I don’t know I mean football was fun and all, but I…

Carole: Don’t think that it’s something that you want to do.

Dani: Exactly.

Burt: What are you going to do then?

Dani: Well I got the address of New York University I just have to send an essay in to them.

Carole: You want to go to NYU?

Dani: Yeah.

Carole: That’s kind of far from here.

Dani: I know, but I’ll be able to visit during Christmas, Thanksgiving, and on my breaks.

Carole: As long as you visit.

Dani: I will.

My phone goes off I take it out of my pocket and look at it new message from Santana I smile.

S: Hey do want to ride with me to school?

D: Of course.

S: Great I’ll pick you up in a bit here.

D: Kay see you soon.

I put my phone back into my pocket Finn, Carole, and Burt are looking at me.

Burt: That must have been Santana?

Dani: Yes how did you know?

Carole: You always get smiley when it’s her.

Finn: See I told you.

Burt: It’s the same way that Finn gets when he talking to Rachel too.

Dani: Ha I told you so too.

Finn: Whatever.

Finn’s phone goes off and he gets all smiley.

Dani & Carole & Burt: Rachel.

Kurt comes into the kitchen.

Burt: It’s about time son.

Kurt: Sorry I was having an outfit crisis.

Dani: Well you look good.

Kurt smiles and I smile back.
