Prom King/Prom Queen

-Dani’s (POV)-

I’m in my room laying on my bed I’m doing some homework there is a knock on my door. I look up and see my mom I smile and she smiles she is holding my tux for the prom tonight.

Carole: Your dad and I picked up your tux for tonight since we were out and about.

I get up and grab I open the bag and look at it. It is a light blue tux with a white tie. Santana is wearing a light blue dress. I hang the tux up on a hanger.

Dani: Thank you.

Carole: You’re welcome. Oh I also heard that you were nominated for prom king?

Dani: Yeah it was a joke that some people at school did.

Carole: So you are owning it?

Dani: Oh yeah I’m owning it and you know what?

Carole: What?

Dani: I hope that I win it so I can tell them to shove it.

Carole: That’s my girl.

We laugh she hugs me and I hug her back.

Dani: I love you mom.

Carole: I love you too sweetie.

My mom and I hug a little longer there is another knock we stop hugging and see Finn is standing there.

Dani: What can I help you with something Finn?

Finn: How are you getting to prom?

Dani: I was planning on taking my car. Why?

Finn: Well Kurt and I were wondering if you would like to help us get another limo this year.

Dani: Uh, hold on let me see how much money I have.

Finn: All right.

I walk to my shelf and grab my piggy bank (It’s a pickle jar) I dump it out and count my money I have one hundred dollars.

Dani: Does it cost the same as last year?

Finn: Yeah so we would put in fifty each again.

Dani: All right.

I grab fifty dollars and hand it to Finn.

Finn: Thank you. You’re awesome D.

Dani: Yeah sure.

Finn walks off.

Carole: Are the girls and Blaine coming over here this year?

Dani: Yeah they want to get ready here with us. They will use Kurt’s room to get ready Finn and Kurt are going to use the game room and I will be using my room.

Carole: That’s sounds nice.

Dani: We wanted you and dad to see us together this year since it’s…

Carole: Your last year?

Dani: Yeah.

Carole: Thank you.

Dani: You’re welcome.

My mom and I hug again than she walks out of my room. Soon it’s time to get ready for the prom I put my tux on and look at myself in the mirror the girls and Blaine are upstairs getting ready. When I put my jacket on Finn and Kurt come into the room Kurt is wearing a white tux with a dark blue tie, Finn is wearing a red tux with a white tie. I would have to say that they look good I try doing my tie.
