Nandini's POV - same night of her first kiss with Manik.
"Excuse me? You what?" her friend Navya screams on the phone.
"I don't know okay. It was so sudden, I could not stop him..."
"Okay slow down. Guide me step by step. You guys were in the subway.."
"Yes.."
"And this was after dinner and dancing?"
"Well.."
"Yes or No Nandini.."
"Yes.."
"Okay...you were in the train and he held your hand.."
"Yes."
"And then he pecks your cheek."
"Navya..you really should speed up the conversation..This guy, out of the blue, kissed me in the train. Can I have outrage please?"
"Answer me Nandini.."
"Yes Sherlock..he did."
"And then he kissed you..on your lips."
"YES!" Nandini closed her eyes and cursed the moment she decided to tell her friend. She is going to dissect the living daylight out of her.
"What kind of a kiss was it?"
"I don't know Navya. I have no point of reference to compare it to."
"Were tongues involved?"
"I am hanging up."
"I swear I will take a bus and arrive at your door in the morning if you hang up on me now Nandini.."
"Gosh! Navya..it was umm..soft little kiss..tender..kind of like a gentle nibble.."
"I see. And then your ran.."
"I ran like a girl running for the gold medal at the Olympics."
"Ok..I get the scenario. I have questions now."
"Kill me."
"I am just getting started."
"You did not run when he held your hand."
"No."
"You did not push him away while he kissed you.."
"No."
"What would you have done if it was random guy in the subway?"
"I would have kneed him in the groin."
"Yet..you gave this guy a hug when you said goodbye.."
Nandini did not reply. She looked at the phone lost in her thoughts.
"Did you kiss him back?"
"Uh?"
"Did you respond to the said gentle nibble."
