Like I thought Noah wouldn't let me kill Hotch early. I had to wait one more day. I decided I was going to kill him at midnight tonight. I wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. The quicker I kill him the sooner I'm out of here. Spencer had texted me to see if I wanted to go to lunch with him. I accepted but something seemed off. Maybe I'm just imagining things. It wouldn't be the first time.

"Hi'" I say sitting down at the table Spencer was seated at. We were suppose to meet here at twelve but I was ten minutes late. "Sorry I'm late traffic is a nightmare." He laughs but it sounds so hallow. "Are you alright you seem off?" He shakes his head. "Yes I'm fine we got a review for a case and it shock me up a little bit. Nothing to worry about."

"If you guys have a case do I need to worry about another unfinished meal?" I joked referring to our first date. He chuckles a little bit. "No the case is here and they didn't want the whole team. Hotch and Morgan took the case they just wanted our look on something." He says as if this was normal. "Are Hotch and umm Morgan your coworkers?" I ask as if I didn't already know. He nods, "Yes, but technically Hotch is my boss." I nod in understanding. "But you already knew that." I heard him mumble under his breath.

I raise my eyebrows in confusion, "What did you say?" He just shakes his head. "Don't worry about it let's just eat." Our food comes right as he said that. I picked at my salad not hungry anymore. Instead I was nervous. I felt like he knew who I really was. What if Aaron already knew I was the one trying to kill him. The rest of lunch was silent. Neither one of us had much to say. Spencer seemed very uptight, his body posture was straight not one arch in his back.

Something was off. Maybe he really did know and I was kidding myself by thinking he didn't. My phone went off it was Noah. I glanced down to skim the words and my heart stopped. All it said was, "They know."

I could feel the color draining from my face. "Is everything alright?" Spencer asked actually seeming concerned. I nod my head trying to act normal. "Yes everything's fine. Nothing to worry about." Spencer nodded but I could tell he was watching my every movement. I can make it through this meal I tell myself I was continue to eat in silence.
