A New Beginning (Shawn Mendes FanFic)

Ariana's POV

I loaded the last of the boxes that contained my life into my moms car. My mom and I were moving to Canada after she was offered an amazing job. I turned to my best friends Lauren, Rebecca, and Maddie. We all got into a tight group hug and just hugged each other. We didn't want to say anything.

After a minute or two I pulled away and it was time to go. I said the hardest goodbyes of my life to them. I had been through so much with them. I didn't know what I would do without them.

"you okay honey?" said my mom.

"yeah I'm fine" I said with a smile.

I wasn't fine. I was the exact opposite of fine. I had just left all of my friends, my old house, and all the memories i had. I was happy for my mom so I didn't want her to know how upset I was. I'm not the most social person, I'm more of a shy and awkward type of girl. So it's going to be very hard for me being the new girl. I wasn't popular at my old school but I was well know. I had made amazing friends and memories that I don't want to leave behind. I also had bad memories as well, like my father, and all the people who had hated me. I wish I was the type of person who didn't care what people thought of me but I'm just not, I care a lot.

I slowly started to drift off into sleep while we drove onto the highway.

"wake up Ariana, we're here" my mom woke me.

As I opened my eyes I saw my new house. It was bigger than my last one, but it wasn't enormous. I helped my mom unload all our belongings and take them inside. The inside of the house was beautiful, it had wooden floors with a beautiful staircase on the side of the house. I went to the backyard and saw we had a pool and a very big yard. I went up the stairs and saw a room with a balcony outside it so I chose that room as mine. I started unpacking my things to try to make things more homey. So far, things are going much better than I hoped they would.

I hadn't thought much of my friends and everyone, to be honest im really looking forward to getting a compleley new start. 

Tomorrow is my first day of school as a junior. I'm so nervous, when I think about it I feel sick.As usual, I played some music to calm myslef down a bit, i went on instagram and looked on the local page thing thats new.

I saw a bunch of really cute guys, and a lot of different pictures from some pretty crazy looking parties. This town seems like a lot of fun, it'll be crazy. 

I decided it was time for me to go to bed so I went under the covers of my bed and drifted off into sleep.
