A New Beginning (Shawn Mendes FanFic)

Chapter 17

The unknown. It can be scary, scary not knowing, being unsure. That is a pretty good way to describe Shawn and I's relationship. Its unknown, we dont really know exactly whats going to happen. All we know is that our love for each other is strong enough to take on the unkown head first, together. 

Ariana's POV

So apparently we are going somewhere in the mountains, judging by us driving up one. The snow is coming down pretty hard, making our surroundings covered by thick fluffy white snow. Its truly beautiful. The snow is almost blinding, everything being the perfect shade of white. Being lost in my thoughts I didnt notice us pulling in to a beautful log cabin. It was the type of cabin that you would see in the movies, the kind that is cozy, warm, and perfect in every way. We got out of the car, my eyes never leaving the cute little cabin. Shawn came around to my side with all the bags in his hands. "Its even better on the inside" I heard him say. I turned to see him smiling at me, I smiled back, falling in love with his gorgeous smile all over agian. 

Shawn was right. Its definitley even better inside. The house was lit by warm comforting lights, their was a fire already started in the fire place warming the house, the furniture and walls were dark, but in the cozy way. With the snow falling outside, being seen from the enormous glass wall, everything was just perfect. Turning around, Shawn came down the stairs, no bags in hand anymore. I ran to him and flung my arms around him, "Its perfect, Thank you". "Anything for my princess", he pecked my lips. His beautiful brown eyes had a sparkle in them today. The kind thats people describe in movies, when you can see the love in thier eyes. 

Shawns POV

I pecked her lips, looking into her eyes I saw a sparkle in them, of happiness, of love. Im sure my eyes held the same sparkle, the kind that I only have for Ariana. She smiled up at me, oh that beautiful smile, the smile that made me fall in love with her. The smile that helped me realize this was the girl for me. I dont care that I'm only 16, I'm so in love with the girl standing in front of me. "I love you so much" My lips said without me even needing to tell them. Her smiled that had been on her face, spread even more. She brought her lips up to mine. The fireworks started up again, I'm never going to get used to kissing her.

I put the Notebook in about an hour ago, Ariana's choice. I was holding her in my arms, while tears streamed down her face. "I can stop the movie, we coud watch something else, maybe a comedy?" I suggested, hating seeing her cry. She shook her head no, she's so stubborn. The tears continued, until she slowly fell asleep. I turned the movie off, and picked her up in my arms. I can't believe she thinks she's fat, she's literally weightless. I took her up to our room, laying her on the bed, and putting the covers over her sleeping body. I was about to lay down next to her, when her phone started ringing. She started to mumble, I ran over to the phone and picked it up not wanting her to wake up.

"Hello?" I answered, the number wasnt saved as a contact in the phone.

"Ariana?" an older mans voice said. 

"She's not available, who is this?" Im getting irritated.

"This is her father" I ended the call. Ariana hasnt told me very much about her father other than that he left her mom and her when she was aboout 11. She didnt want anything to do with him, she was still hurt from everything that had happened. If he gets to contact her, everything would become fresh again and hurt her all over again, maybe even more than before. 

I cant let him talk to her. Not after everything he has done. I got into the bed beside Ariana. I'll have to talk to her about it tomorrow. I scooped her up in my arms, holding her close. I slowly fell asleep, as I began to fall into the deep sleep I heard an angelic voice say "I love you". The three words I would never get used to. The three words that would make me do absolutley anything just to hear it come from her mouth. The three words that made my life the best its ever been.

Hey y'all new chapter yay! and its finally not after like 5 months! Anyways I have some new ideas for a new cover?
