Ariana's POV
I jumped awake from a nightmare. It was the two kidnappers, they were beating me again but this time they had a knife. I started crying at the memory of them. Shawn woke up next to me.
"I had a nightmare" I snuggled close to him.
"do you want to talk about it?" he took my hand and wrapped his fingers around mine.
"It was them"I was shaking at this point.
"As long as I'm here they will never get close to you" he pulled me closer into him. I snuggled into him with my head on his chest. I felt safe around Shawn. He actually cared about me unlike the other men in my life.
"thank you shawn, for everything"
He didn't answer he just kissed the top of my head again. It was quite after that, not an awkward silence but a good silence. I felt myself slowly drifting off into sleep.

I woke up to the sun shining into the room. it felt very nice. Shawn wasn't in the room but I found a note saying that he had gone to get us some breakfast. I walked to the bathroom to freshen up a bit.
Shawn's POV
I couldn't believe how amazing everything had been. Other than what had happened to Ariana of course, but me and Ariana had cuddled the whole night, we fell asleep with her in my arms. I want her to be mine. I'm not very sure how she would feel about that but I know she likes me.
I went to the cafeteria to see what they had for breakfast, I found a chick fil a and got some mini chicken nuggets for both of us. I also picked up a big teddy bear from the gift shop for her. I walked into the room and saw she wasn't in the bed, but the bathroom water was on.
"Ariana I'm here" I said loudly.
"I'll be right out!" she said back.
I went over to the little table that the hospital room had and set everything up for us. I sat down on the couch with the teddy bear sitting next to me. She came out of the bathroom and a huge smile spread across her face.
"aww shawn you're so sweet" she walked over to me and hugged me. She let go and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Her cheeks turned red from her blushing. We both sat down and began eating our breakfast together.
