A New Beginning (Shawn Mendes FanFic)

Chapter 22

Ariana's POV

Its been a couple days since Shawn and I have came back home. I was with my mom practically the whole time, I've really missed her. But I miss Shawn a lot so he's coming by to pick me up in about 20 minutes, he says we are going somewhere fun and new? That boy really is something. 

I head over to my bathroom to get ready, I decide on a casual look, going for a long sleeve shirt that covers my butt and some black leggings, oh and some cute socks to wear with my converse. I put on just a little mascara and concealer, as Shawn honks his car outside. 

I grab my phone and purse and run outside to the warmth of his car. It gets super cold in Canada. 

"Hey baby" He says reaching over to me, to greet me with a kiss. 

"Hi Shawn" I smile into the kiss. 

"So wait where are we going?" I ask once I realize he stil hasnt told me. 

"It's a surprise" He says teasingly, he knows im not a big fan of surprises. 

I roll my eyes at him, taking the aux cord and plugging it into my phone. I decide on Senile, i'm in a partyish sorta mood. 

"We should go to a party tonight" I say based on my mood. 

"Why?" He chuckles, "that was really random".

"I dont know I'm just in the party mood you know?" I say while doing some chest bumps into the air. 

"As long as you dont do that, sure we can go" He laughs at my weird dancing. 

"Oh stop  you know im actually a pretty good dancer" I wink at him, rememering the last party we went to together, im not going to lie, we were grinding almost the whole time. 

"Yea I guess you are" He laughs at the memory, he reaches over to me and puts his hand on my thigh, giving it a little squeeze.

I sit back in the passenger seat, letting myself relax. I'm incredibly content with Shawn in my life, and how our relationship turned out.

Finally after a long car ride, Shawn lets me know we are close to wherever he's taking me. My attention is focused on our surroundings, there's a lot of buildings, they seem to be pretty new too.

Shawn parks the car by a tall building, I look above us to see a sign "Jungle Rope Course" with a bunch of animals painted beside it. 

I laugh at the sign as I get out of the car, Shawn comes to my side and leads me inside, with his hand on my lower back. 

Inside, its truly amazing. They have fake trees covering the majority of the building along with rope courses everywhere. Nature musics playing in the background, like the one that usually plays in the rainforest cafe. 

Shawn and I walk over to the front desk, Shawn doing whatevers needed. Meanwhile I look around and notice a waterfall in the center, and a bunch of animal statues that look pretty real. 

Shawn comes to my side, grinning from ear to ear; I dont understand how people think  of him as a bad boy, he seems like such a kid to me. "We need to gear up, come on babe" he tells me as he leads me to a bunch of different harnests. 

We get all geared up, with ropes tied onto us too so we dont get hurt. We make our way to the beginning of the course, its at the bottom of a large tree, with a rope leading up to the top of another tree where a little tree house is. 

"Ladies first" Shawn says, as if he's a gentlemen. "Oh please you just want an excuse to look at my ass" I remark, but the harnest and my leggings do make my butt look pretty good. He winks at me, giving me a little slap on the butt. 

Rolling my eyes at him, I make my way onto the thin rope, theres no handles or anything just the rope thats connected to the metal rails above me, so I steady myself on that best as I can. 

The course ends up being a lot harder than I thought it would be, but Shawn being Shawn does it like a pro as always. 

Somehow we end up at a local little icecream parlor, I get my favorite flavor cotton candy, while Shawn gets his usual birthday cake. We are sitting in a little booth eating, while I get an idea. I make my way over to Shawns side of the booth sitting next to him. 

"Babe lets get out of here" I try to say in a seductive voice. He looks over at me a little confused. I put my hand on his knee and slowly start moving it up, he starts to tense up. I take my hand off his thigh and replace it on his abs. Slowly I make my way up, "but first.." I say, bringing my head close to his, pretending to lean in for a kiss. I move quickly and reach for his hand, brining it up to his face. 

The ice cream is splatters all over his face, a look of shock and confusion is covering his face while I am literally on the floor laughing. I stand up as he slowly gets out of the booth, revenge written all over his face. 

"Babe you look so hot, I dont think I can control myself" he says, grinning. The little bastard suddenly grabs me in his arms and brings my face to his. But instead of kissing me, he rubs his face all over mine, spreading the sticky icecream everywhere. 

I gasp as the cold treat spreads all over. "Shawn!!!" I scream, getting a dissaproving look from the employee. 

Shawn darts outside, I run after him but I'm too late. He's already in the car, and guessing off of his grinning face, he's locked me out. I make my way to the car, tugging on the handle. Yup. Im locked out. 

I pound my fist on the window screaming at him. Like i said before, not much of a bad boy, but very much a kid. 

Fine if he wants to be like that I can too. "Shawn if you dont open this door im taking my shirt off and going into that club" i say pointing to slowly filling club. "You wouldn't" he says loud enough for me to hear. 

Knowning how protective and jealous he is, I shrug and pull my top off. The cold air hits my stomach and chest, revealing my sexy lace bra. It is really cold, but I turn around and see the look on his red, face, its definitley worth it.  I make my way towards the club, but I get lifted off the ground by the time I reach the door. 

"Oh no you dont." He says as he walks toward the car. He places me in the passenger seat gently and gets into the drivers seat. 

"Never do that again." he says madly. "Never lock me out again" I say grinning.

I know i suck. Im horrible. Im so sorry, i havent updated in like literally 2 months. 

But heres this kinda long chapter!!

Im going to try and update i promise.
