Chapter 5

Shawn's POV

The boys and I climbed into the house through a window. We all split up into pairs and started searching the house. The house was at least three story's, so we had a lot to search. I was paired up with Cam, we searched the first floor. We looked through every room but she wasn't in any of them, but there was one room left that we hadn't checked. When I tried to turn the handle it wouldn't budge, it was locked. I backed up a bit and slammed into the door
with my side, it opened easily.

What I saw when I walked in broke my heart. In the middle of the room, was Ariana. She was covered in bruises, scratches, and blood. Her eyes were barely open and you could tell she was in so much pain. I was going to kill Chris and Connor, but first I had to save my girl. I just called her my girl, but she's not my girlfriend, yet, I'm going to change that.

Ariana's POV

I heard someone try to open the door. I'm guessing it's locked because it didn't budge. There was a loud thud and I looked up to see two people. Everything was blurry but was slowly getting clearer.

"Oh my god Ariana" it sounded like Shawn.

It was. He was leaning over me his eyes widened. He seemed very mad and shocked. But how did he find me?

"we have to go" shawn comes over and gently picks me up. wow he's so much stronger than I thought.

"what about the kidnappers" I was worried what they would do if they saw us escaping.

"Cam already called the police they are on the way."

Shawn, Cam and I all turned the corner and found the back door of the house, we went outside to find their jeep parked outside. Shawn put me in first then came in himself. There were a lot of other guys in the car with us, but the Jeep was pretty big so we all fit. I didn't ask any questions about the guys, I would properly meet them later.
Shawn pulled me into his lap and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"are you okay?"

I nodded my head no slowly, I was so weak and in so much pain. I couldn't lie to him since I probably looked like I was dying. He started to rub my lower back, he made me feel so much safer.

"you're safe now" he kept repeating.

The police finally got there and arrested the kidnappers, apparently Shawn knew them but he wouldn't tell me how. Once the police left we drove to the hospital. I went to an ER room. I had 2 broken ribs, and a mild concussion, not as bad as I thought I would be. The doctors made me stay the night. Shawn stayed with me, he was being so sweet.

Shawn went out and rented a movie and bought candy. He came back and we started watching chick flicks. My request of course. We both sat on the hospital bed together. It was a little awkward at first but I started snuggling into him. When it got to a sad part i would start crying and he would wrap his arms around me and kiss the top of my head. I started thinking about how we weren't dating, how we basically just met. I really liked him but I'm not sure if that's a good thing, he's a huge bad boy. I don't want to get my heart broken but I like him so much. I started to slowly drift off into sleep thinking about what we could be.
