Chapter three - The Clumsy Conference

Skylar's POV

Walking through the big wide opening exit doors gave me butterflies! I was so scared, scared to meet all the magcon family. Me and Lacey were finally across the other side of the world, we were really in San Diego and it was sooo hot! 

I was boiling, sweating even; it wasn't a good look. Whilst walking with Lacey to the waiting area I was fanning myself with my free hand. We were waiting to get picked up by someone from the Magcon head team, we didn't even know who it was going to be. 

We searched around for a sign with our names on ... no where ...

"Skylar! Lacey! Lacey and Skylar!" I heard a loud women's voice, we both did. We turned to see a very thin, tall women with long, straight black hair with a white wide smile; she honestly looked like a model! She pushed fiercely through the front row of taxi drivers holding other signs for pickups and ran over to us happily.

"Hey girls!" She waved and we smiled nicely at her. Who was she??

"Oh shit, I forgot to tell you who I am! HAHA! Sorry; my names Janet. I'm one of the main bosses of Magcon alongside Bart, I'm also going to be your own manager too!" She giggled like a little girl which made us laugh. She seemed really nice, easy to get along with.

"Anyways, we're need to head to your hotel quickly and sign you two girls in! Follow me!" She directed us to the main exit doors to outside the airport.

Outside was even more hotter, I mean it was giving me a headache. I needed some water and some shade!

Janet stopped at the side of a posh silver car, "Here's our ride!" She winked and opened the back seat door.

*Arriving at the hotel*

Looking out of the dark tinted window to see our hotel made me grin, the hotel we were staying in was huge! I mean, bigger than any hotel I've ever been in before! It looked like a palace, like where celebrities stay in!  My butterflies flying in my belly had disappeared quickly and excitment replaced them!

I felt Lacey leaning over my shoulder also to see the hotel and I heard a small happy giggle. She too was excited!

Once the car was carefully parked at the front of the hotel doors, we got out and grabbed our bags from the boot. Janet helped and walked with us to the reception where we had to sign in. It didn't take long for us to get our hotel room number and keys; Janet took us over to the sofa which was placed in front of a posh looking water fountain in the middle of the marble room. 

"Okay girls, now all you need to do is get ready for the meeting with the rest of the magcon family! Your room number is 118 on the third floor, its on the same level as the others. The meeting starts in ten so the quicker you are now, the better!" She smiled and pointed over to the set of lifts. 

We quickly got up and started to skip over to the lifts so we had enough time to look nice.

"Oh and girls, remember to have fun!!" She shouted at us whilst we were still skipping. We both smiled back at her and got inside on one of the lifts which was empty.

"Oh my god! We're actually here!" I screamed whilst jumping up and down with Lacey.

"I know! It's like so surreal!" She shouted. We were so happy and literally ran to our room as soon as we got to the third floor.

Once we found room 118, we opened to the door to find a large and posh looking room just for us. It had cream carpet and golden and brown wallpaper. There were paintings located around the room with a large flat screen TV in the middle opposite the large king sized bed (me and Lacey were sharing the room). The room also had a dressing table, a set of drawers, a cosy sofa and a baloney. The bathroom had a big bath and shower with a large mirror and two sets of taps. It was a nice room for sure!
