Chapter 26

"WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER, YOU STUPID IDIOTIC ABUSIVE SON OF A MINOTAUR! "

"Nico, calm down! He didn't do anything!"

"I DON'T CARE! I WANT MY DAUGHTER BACK!"

"Nico! Stop it!"

"Babe! You're going to kill him!"

Percy and Jason had to pry Nico off the son of the forge god, restraining him as a few of the other campers helped him to his feet. Nico kept fighting them, trying to plant a few more well placed fists into the kids face out of anger. How did this all start? A few of the campers would say that Nick had come running from the forest looking for Nico and Percy, others would say that Nico found him and dragged him back. But what everyone can agree on is that Nick had started babbling about how Elisabeth had been taken, and Nico snapped. Not that no one could blame him at all, what would you do if your daughter's abusive boyfriend had told you that someone that the boy claimed to have been the abused half-brother was the one to steal her? Probably the exact same thing.

"Nico, calm down! He was only telling us this so we knew!" Percy said, trying to calm him down so that he would be more reasonable. "What would you have done?!"

"I would have fallowed after her!" Nico screamed, earning a crowd of other campers that were coming out of the wood-works to see what was going on. "I wouldn't have waited to go after her!"

"Well, not all of us can Shadow Travel!" Nick screamed back, his nose bleeding and his arm limp at his side. "I did the only thing I could do!"

"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TRIED TO DO MORE!" Nico screamed, managing to kick in the kid's kneecap and forcing him down on one knee. "SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN OUT OF HER ROOM! SHE WOULDN'T BE GONE IF YOU HADN'T TAKEN HER OUT OF HER ROOM!"

"SHE CAME AND DRAGGED ME THERE, YOU STUPID FAG!" The whole circle went quiet, even Nico, Jason, and Percy were shocked by what he had just said. " YEAH! I SAID IT! YOU AND YOUR FUCK TOY ARE FAGS! HELL! I WOULD CALL YOU SOMETHING WORSE-" That's when Percy and Jason let Nico loose and back away. By the time Chiron got there, the son of Hades was about to rip the kid apart like a wild animal.

"That is enough, Mr. di Angelo!" Chiron bellowed, pulling Nick away from Nico with a swift motion. "This is neither the time or the place for this!" Nico, his fists still clenched into tight balls, shakily backed away, knowing that Chiron was right.

"He deserved it though." One of the campers whispered, earning a few murmurs of agreement. "Calling Mr. di Angelo a fag and all."

Chiron sighed and started to the medical tent with the broken teenager in his arms. "I will see you three in the Big House." And with that, he was gone. Percy and Jason stood beside Nico, both of them cockily standing taller than the young son of Hades. Nico looked up at his lover, then at his best friend, then after the stupid kid with anger in his eyes.

"He totally deserved that." Jason nodded.

"I may not be gay, but I defiantly would have killed him." Percy sighed and nodded.

"But he's he only one who saw our daughter last." Nico growled and whipped some blood off his cheek.

"That's the only reason he is alive."

Chiron found a healer and had Nick back on his feet in no time flat, a steady frown stuck on his face as the young halfblood wove his tale to him. Every detail of what the halfblood had seen was relayed to the wise old centaur without even a hesitation, his words speaking truth the whole time. By the end, Chiron was undoubtedly displeased by this.

"Are you sure that it was your half-brother who stole her?"

"I would recognize those eyes anywhere." Nick growled, looking like he was going to kill someone. "And those wood nymphs were in on it too, I swear! As soon as the chariot got sucked back into the earth, I saw one hide in the forest and the other turn to black dust!"
