Nick glared down at them from atop the small cliff, his crazed steed bucking lightly and neighing in protest to the sudden stop. He had seen and heard everything, the fall, the wings growing, the annoying singing from his half brother, the stranger's surprise when she admired to not knowing if that stunt that had scared this onlooker half to death was going to work, her.....

"Elisabeth!" Alex shouted as she slammed on the breaks, or in this case pulled back on the reigns of her steed, making blood pool around the bit as she almost slid off the ledge. "By the gods, is that you?!"

Elisabeth stared up at the two of them, and I watched her back away. Like she was afraid of them. That stung worse than thinking she was injured.

"Elisabeth! It's us!" Jonny called, screeching to a halt beside Nick, a somewhat confused look on his face. "Who's the blonde?"

"Don't know don't care." Alex said, mostly in an annoyed tone. "I just want to get this done and over with so I can just go home and enjoy a cheeseburger."

" What you guys doing here?!" Elizabeth screeched, her face paler than fresh fallen snow. A flash of hurt filled Nick's eyes.

"We are here to rescue you..."

Elisabeth shook her head, backing away from the bottom of the ledge and into Henry's arms. "No." She looked scared as hell of them, and it hurt Nick to see that look on her face.

"Elisabeth, you're not safe with him!"

"She is." The blond said defensivly, taking a stand right beside her. "After all, we are siblings."

"What the hell are you smoking?" Alex asked. "And why the hell didn't you offer any up? I want some of whatever's making you crazy!"

Herc stayed back from the edge, listening intently to what was being said. Somewhat like a secret weapon if things went south. But from what he was hearing, things were going to go more up than down at the moment.

"Nick," Henry hissed, holding Elisabeth protectivly in his arms. "He's right. She isn't in danger. We-"

"You kidnapped her!" Nick shouted, a flash of anger burning in his dark brown eyes. "For all I know you made friends with a dead psycho blond Mars kid and let Stockholm syndrome effect Elisabeth!"

"Hey!" The stranger shouted, pointing a finger at Nick. "I am not a son of any god!"

"Then damn, mortal," Jonny said with a low whistle. "you died with a gift from Zeus or somethin'."

The guy grinned a little, a look on his face that told Nick he had something up his sleeve. "Yeah, or something." The stranger's eyes flashed a bright electric blue without warning and Nick swore he saw electricity run through his hair.

Alex's eyes narrowed and a low growl escaped from her throat. Nick could tell she didn't like this either.

"Who do you think you are?" Alex snarled, her hands gripping the reigns harder till her knuckles where white. "We just-"

"You want to take away our sister." The blond said cooly, rolling his shoulders like he was readying for a fight. "And guess what, wolfe, I'm not letting you take her away from us."

Nick gripped his sword in his hand, ready to pop it out of its sheath and fight, but one look at Elisabeth made me stop. She wasn't in Henry's arms anymore, but next to the blond, hand on his muscular arm like a plea to stop. The blond seemed to calm down and smile at her, patting her head like she was a puppy. That made Nick's blood boil and freeze at the exact same time. Gritting his teeth, he started pulling up his sword to free it from it's bonds.
