Joel's POV.

Lizzie got called out in English. Probably for the way she's been acting. I don't know why she's being so snappy. She might not of hade a good day with her dad. I feel so bad for here. "Sit down beside Joel." The teacher says and Lizzie marches her way down to me. She apologised for the ways been acting. I told her she didn't need to apologise and I didn't take it to heart. English and geography flys by, before I know it I'm walking downstairs to go to lunch. Beside me is Lizzie. We've made up and she was back to her happy normal self. I didn't ask her why she was acting up. I wanted her to know she could tell me without me asking. Making a quick stop at lizzies locker we made it to the lunch hall. Everyone but Kiol and yammy were there. Yams probably getting sick or something. (This dude just walked past me and he looked like Joel but he didn't at the same time and I was like ahhh) of course everyone asked us about yammy and kiols absents. I was unsure if they knew about yammy being pregnant but I kept my mouth shut. "Someone's in a good mood!" Scott says to Lizzie. "Just about." Lizzie cherped. "So what made you change your mind?" Oli laughed. Lizzie gave oli a "shut the hell up before I bate you with a rubber hammer." Look if you know what you mean. Oli kept his mouth shut but no one else did. "Maybe that mark on her face has special powers!" Lauren joked. "Shut up. She clearly looks uncomfortable and your not helping!" I raised my voice to sound more intimidating. Lizzie thanked me and we all got on with our lunch. About five minutes later yammy and kiol came in. "Where were you? Yammy you look pale! Are you okay?" Lauren asked. "Don't ask." Kiol ran his hands threw his hair looking exhausted. "You'll get threw it." Lizzie smiled crookedly. Yammy and kiol took their seats and we continued lunch.

(Time skip to the end of the day)

Lizzies POV

Maddie ran threw the hall calling my name. I pretended I couldn't hear her. She finally caught up with me. "Lizzie!" She said huffing and puffing. "You good?" I asked acting like I haven't been ignoring her. "Kinda, huh, are you sure you don't want me to go to dads?" She asked taking big breaths in between each word. "No Maddie, not for a while anyways, dad isn't himself it's gonna take him awhile to get back on track!" I didn't want Maddie anywhere near that man. She sighed and walked back to her locker. I walked out with yammy to the bus. She told me she hated morning sickness and she taught she was getting fat from all she was eating. I had to explain it was the baby getting bigger and not her but people who didn't know about it would think she was fat. I didn't mention that last part. "What was wrong with you this morning." She asked. "Nothing, just dreading the taught of going back to his house." I sounded like I was half asleep. "Why?" She asked. "Why? He's just, not himself." I tried to explain not giving to. Much information. "Neither are you, I know I'm meant to get moody. I'm pregnant like but I don't know what's going on with you!" I laughed at the taught of yammy using pregnancy as an excuse to her moodiness. But we all know yammy a just moody. "It's just hard. Trying to get use to everything, and my dads being a right dick lately. He just gets angry at me for everything!" Yammy looked down and drowned for me. "I honestly wish I could say I understand but I really don't. Forgive me for asking but did he give you that mark?" My fave went bright red as that question fell out of yammy a mouth. "No, I ran into a door." I lied. I could tell she didn't believe me. "Your nose is getting bigger!" Yammy joked so I played along putting my finger beside my nose. We both laughed and got into the bus. I survived the first half of the day, here comes the next.

<time skip to when Lizzie gets home>

That was a long day. I just want to go to my bed and sleep. I turn the door handle down and push the door open. "Hello?" I shout a little. "Get upstairs." A voice replays. That voice was my dads. I don't want to argue with him so I sprint upstairs and flop on my bed. I can hear the tv downstairs. I'm so sick of this. This is only my second day here and I already wish I wasn't in this house. I decide to go for a walk outside, maybe go down to Joel, yammy and all. I pop my shoes back in and get my money and throw it in my pocket. "I'm going downtown." I shout as I reach for the door. "And you think you deserve that?" He says. I look over at him to see him in his phone. "Huh?" I questioned. "Go, get out of my sight!" He shouted. Confused on what I did I run out of the house and catch the town bus. I text the group chat to let them know I'm coming down
