Plane

JJ pov...

The unsub was killed so it's time to head home. we all get on the plane and choose our seats, I sit away from everyone on the plane.

The flight starts and it doesn't take long for Spence, Dereck and Alex to fall asleep, Dave and Aaron and talking together at the table.

I start thinking and everything works out in my head, I'm going to have a baby soon but I don't want the others to know who the father is, they don't know that Will left but they might be wondering seeing as I don't have my ring on. I think that for me to continue this job is just too much right now, I have Henry to look after and this new baby by myself and this jobs takes us away for days so I would barely see them.

I pull out my phone and type up a letter to Hotch basically saying that I resign without giving him a reason. Our flight is going to land soon so I send the message to him before putting my phone away.

The plane lands and we all get off to go home, I trail behind the others and once they leave I go to my desk. I grab my stuff from the desk and put it in a box, I head into Hotch's office and see him sitting at his desk. I say "I thought you had gone home"

He shakes his head and says "I was wondering if you were just going to leave"

I hand over my gun and badge and say "yeah, I don't like goodbyes"

He smiles and says "we are all going to miss you JJ"

I nod and say "I'll miss you too"

He asks "is there something going on?"

I smile and say "it's nothing to worry about"

I head home and put my stuff on the table when there is a knock on the door, I open it to find Henry and Will there. I let them both in and Henry sees my stuff and asks "what's going on mommy?"

I say "nothing Hen, I just needed a break from the job for now"

He nods and goes to his room to put his stuff away. I turn to Will and ask "is it alright if Henry and I move away for a bit?"

He nods and says "of course, is everything alright?"

I smile and say "yeah, I think a fresh start would be helpful"

He smiles and says "I hope it helps"

I say "thanks"

We talk for a little bit before he leaves ready to get on his plane and go home.

I pick up the phone and make a call, we say the usual hellos and how are you before I ask "how would you like to have two house guests for a little bit?'

They answer and I say "cool, thanks see you soon" and hang up.

I tell Henry what is going on before I go into the cupboard and pull out our suitcases and Henry helps pack up our clothes, photos and other essentials. I ask Henry what he wants for dinner and knowing him he wanted pizza. We share a pizza before watching a movie and I take Hen to bed for our last night here before we leave in the morning. I pack our stuff that I can in the car before going to bed myself. For once I actually sleep without dreams.

We get up and have breakfast before I call over a friend who was looking into somewhere to stay, I let them use the house to help pack up anything we left behind that is important and then they will leave the house empty for whatever I decide to do with it. I make sure Henry has everything he wants before we get in the car and drive away.
