JJ pov...
I'm having an ultrasound today. Both Henry and Emily are coming with me, we are all excited about the new addition to the family.
I'm four months pregnant so if the baby is in the right position we might be able to find out the gender.
We have to go in early as Henry has school and I start my first day at work for Interpol.
We go into the doctors room and talk about how the pregnancy is going and that we want to find out the gender. I lie down on the bed and lift my top. The doctor says "it's going to be cold"
I nod and they put the gel on my stomach before using the ultrasound machine to show the baby.
We look at the screen watching the baby move, I say to Henry "see that is your baby brother or sister"
He smiles and says "they look so small"
Em nods and says "they are right now, they still have some growing to do"
The doctor says "Henry do you want to know if you are having a brother or sister"
He nods his head and says "yes please"
The doctor smiles and says "so polite" they move the ultrasound machine around on my stomach and says "well Henry you get a baby sister, Jennifer it's going to be a girl"
I smile and hug both Henry and Em. We get copies of the scan to take home and book in for the next scan before leaving.
We go to Henry's school and walk him into his class. He puts his bag away before going over to say hello to his teacher, we talk for a few minutes before saying goodbye and leaving Henry with his friends here.
Em and I head into work for my first day. I get introduced to some people and those who I will be working with. I get to my desk and set my stuff up. I don't have much really get but I put up photos of Henry, the old team, and a copy of the latest ultrasound.
I'm not working on a case yet as I have to fill out all the paperwork and get everything approved before I can start. I finish it all and get my credentials given to me.
I have lunch with my team before they fill me in on the current case.
