JJ pov...

I wake up from another nightmare or the memories that I can't forget. I don't know if they will go away soon but hopefully they do. I know that if I go back to sleep it will be the same dream so I quietly get out of bed. I look in at Henry's room watching him sleep peaceful before walking to the kitchen to get a drink of water. I sit down and slowly have my drink. I put the glass away and sit back down.
I can hear footsteps and see Em standing at the door, she comes over and sits down next to me. I say to her "sorry if I woke you, I tried not to"
She smiles and says "you didn't Jayge I was awake, are you alright?"
I nod and say "yeah I couldn't sleep any more"
She nods in understanding and says "the memories will fade or the dreams become less common or at least they did for me with Doyle"
I stay quiet and she asks "do you want to talk about it? It may help"
I nod and say "do you remember when I told you what Hastings said to me?"
She thinks for a moment before saying "he was giving you the child you lost?"
I nod and say "yeah, only him and Cruz knew but in Afghanistan I was pregnant with Will's child and what would have been Henry's sibling but because of what Cruz did we got into an explosion in which I lost the baby"
She hugs me and says "I'm sorry"
I say "that's what he meant as he caused me to lose that child but he created the one I am currently carrying".
She says "although he his the reason you are having this baby, he will have no part of her life. Hastings is dead and can't hurt you or the baby. She will know Henry, you and me at this stage and we will be her family"
I smile and say "thank you so much for everything Em, you have helped me more than you know"
She smiles before saying "anytime, I am always going to be here for you"
I stay quiet and she asks "is that what the dreams have been about?"
I say "partly, most of it is what happened in the basement"
She nods and asks "did you ever tell anyone what happened?"
I shake my head and say "no they were all worried about me already I didn't want to make it worse"
She says "anytime you want to tell me I will always be here to listen"
I ask "right now?"
She nods so I say "when I was taken both Cruz and I were hung from the ceiling by our arms. Hastings and Askari tortured us by cutting, electric shocks or water. They wanted the codes they we had from working together, I gave them mine so it would send the message hoping you or the team would get it. I told Cruz I was fine so he wouldn't give his away, they took him away and shot him, Cruz stopped screaming so I thought he was dead. Hastings came back and was talking to me before he raped me and left just before you arrived."
She hugs me and says "I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry, I didn't know you went through all of that and never told anyone. I will be here for you no matter what and you can always talk to me"
I smile and say "thanks, I don't know what I would do without you right now"
She laughs and say "well you won't have to find out"
I smile and look around the room, I look at the clock and am shocked at the time. It's morning now and Henry will be up soon as it's 7:00am. We get up and changed before starting on breakfast while waiting for Hen to get up.

We finish cooking the pancakes for our breakfast and set everything up just as Hen walks out. He says morning and hugs us both before we sit down to eat. We finish eating and clean up everything. Em asks Henry what he wants to do for the day as we have no work and he has no school. He thinks about it but Em's phone rings, it's closer to me so I pick it up and pass it over to her as I notice that Hotch is calling.
She takes the call and walks away for a few minutes before coming back and putting the phone down. I ask "is everything alright with the team?"
She nods and says "yeah I was just offered your job back because they don't know where you are or if your are going back. Hotch seemed a little shocked when I said I wanted to stay here"
I ask "really, are you sure you don't want the job?"
She smiles and says "I like the job here and I have you, Henry and soon your baby girl here. I don't want to go back right now"
I smile and Hen say "I like it here, it's cool"
We laugh and smile at him before Em says "don't worry we are all staying here together"
