Day out

JJ pov...

It's a Saturday so Henry has no school, I have the day off but Emily has work. We get up early and I decide to take Hen round the city more to explore. We walk around the streets looking at what there is and going in some shops. We have something to eat before I ask "do you want to go on a drive?"
He nods and we head home and get in the car and start driving.

Hen looks around as we drive and it takes just under half an hour before he falls asleep. I drive for another half hour before parking the car. I thought I would surprise Henry and take him to a place that one of the people I work with suggested as their children loved it here. I wake up Henry and tell him "we're here"
He asks "where are we mommy?"
I say "it's a place called Chessington, World of Adventure, we get to go in and have fun"
He nods and we get out of the car and buy our tickets before going in.

We go to the zoo section first so Hen can see all the animals they have here. We walk around and look at all the animals. He loves the birds as they are all different colours. We go into what they call the children's zoo where he could go and pet some of the animals and hold them. We went on the treetop adventure where we could walk though at the tree levels and see the different animals like monkeys close in the trees. He said his favourite animal was the penguins as they are cute and he liked watching them swim.

I next take him to the theme parks area, he is only small so we can only go on certain rides. It didn't bother him as everything we went on he would smile lots and laugh. I think one of his favourites was the dinosaur area.

We take a break to have lunch before going to look around the sea life area the creatures such as fish, sharks, jellyfish, and stingrays. I still have my favourite of the seahorses.

I can tell Hen is getting tired now so we get back in the car and I start driving home. He falls asleep fast and stays asleep the entire drive home.
We go inside and he wants to read his books so I help him and we read some of his favourite books until Em gets home. We says hi and I ask "how was work?"
She smiles and says "it was good nothing to bad today"
I nod and she turns to Henry before asking "did you have a good day?"
He nods and says lit was great mom took me to an adventure park"
She looks at me and I nod before saying "Hen why don't you tell Em all about today and I will cook us dinner"
He nods and starts his story.

Hen goes to bed quickly after dinner as he was tired from today. Em and I sit down on the couch and she says "it sounds like you two had lots of fun today"
I nod and say "yeah we did, I know he is still adjusting to being here and away from Will so I thought he might like a fun day out and while I still could have it just the two of us before I get too big to do anything before the baby comes"
She smiles and says "that's sweet of you, he loves you so much"
I smile and say "yeah I love him too, I can't imagine not having him"

I have never been to the adventure park or even Europe but it looked cool and something I would want to do so I put it in the story, hope it's alright.
