"From the pilots and Flight Attendants at Delta Airlines, we want to say thank you for flying with us and welcome to Los Angeles, California!" The flight attendant spoke as I shook Riley and Royalty awake. They both jumped out of their slumber and made the same mug at me.

"Wake up ugly girl, welcome to our new residence."

"Ya' mama." Riley insulted, stretching and yawning. "That measly four hours of sleep was the best sleep I've gotten in like three weeks."

"Because it was the only sleep you've gotten in three weeks." I reminded. She huffed quietly and grabbed Royalty, who fell right back asleep, from off my lap and started exiting the plane. "I can't sleep Chrissy. And we all know why."

"Of course we all know why, and that's not healthy for neither you nor PB and J. You need to start resting up."

It's been three weeks since Raheem's funeral, and Riley has been restless ever since. She wanted to stay in Atlanta for a few more weeks to help her family cope with their grievance, and I wasn't moving without her so we held off for a while. It's been paining her since then and being pregnant with crazy ass hormones wasn't much help.

"Christopher don't you think I'm trying to rest up? He's been the only thing on my mind this whole time. I know it's unhealthy for me and the babies but I can't control it."

"I understand, but baby you at least gotta work with me so we could try to get you to subsist with this. You know damn well Raheem wouldn't want you walking around all mopey and sad, especially now that we living in a beautiful ass city like LA."

"You're right. I'll try to get some sleep, in our King bed, in our condo, in Los Angeles California tonight. I don't want my cry baby ass emotions affecting my children or the way we're living now." She led the way to baggage claim and we waited for our luggage to come through on the conveyer belt.

"Good. Maybe that's all you need, a new place to settle down; a new beginning. And it's our children. Speaking of, have you been looking into some OB-GYN's here? You gotta get that surgery, Ry."

"I know. And actually, Vanessa told me about this really good Primary Care Physician that's like twenty minutes away from where we're staying. She said she was with her for her daughter."

"Don't be talking to my manager without me knowing." I told her jokingly. She sucked her teeth and pushed me lightly.

"Boy fuck you, now get our bags, I'll call the uber."

"Uber?" I laughed and jerked my head at her.  "Baby we got a chaperone."
