Riley.
Los Angeles, CaliforniaChris assisted our driver in lifting our bags in the trunk while I helped strapped the kids into their seats. After we were done I sat in the back with the children as he drove back to our Condo. Although Atlanta is my home and I did enjoy my time with my family and friends there, it feels damn good to be back in LA, back to our California King, back to our own kitchen, our own couch, our own bathroom. Reagan and I finally spilled the beans to daddy about the baby on New Year's, and I'll be a damn good liar if I said he took the news easy. Marquise was there, and after he and daddy had basically the same talk that he had with Chris, he understood the fact that he had no choice but to accept both Ray and my niece or nephew.
Chris and I still haven't talked about Christmas Dinner, and of course I plan to I just don't know where to start. I can't lie, since then I can tell the energy has been a little off between us and I hate not being on the best terms with my baby. I know I might've hurt his feelings, but nineteen year old me just simply isn't ready for such a commitment. Not yet.
"Thank you again Bruce." I thanked and tipped as he helped Chris get our bags. I grabbed both carriers and met the unfamiliar valet driver at the revolver. It was a dark skinned black man about Chris's height.
"Hi! How are you?" He smiled and nodded to me. "I'm well thank you."
"You just started? I've never seen you before."
"Not necessarily. I work at the other building I'm just filling in for Javier while he's out." He informed.
"Vacation?"
"Nah he hasn't been feeling well for like a week now."
I poked my bottom lip. "Aw. Well I'm Riley, and this is my daughter Royalty,"
"Hey lil Royalty how you doing?" The doorman greeted.
"I'm good." She shyly smiled, hiding behind Nayeli's carrier. "and my twins Noah and Nayeli."
"You pushed out twins?" He asked, obviously staggered.
I laughed and shook my head. "Not necessarily," I mocked him from earlier. "They were taken out...but either way, yes I gave birth to twins."
He followed me in laughter and nodded. "Ahh I see, well they got you looking good, and they're just as gorgeous as you." The valet charmed.
"Thank you. And just as heavy too." I said as I felt Noah's arm weakening.
"Aight I ain't gon' hold you up, I'm Travis though."
"And I'm Chris." I heard Chris come up behind me and say, trailing our luggages behind him. I looked back at Travis and he nodded.
"Travis this is my boyfriend, Chris. Chris, Travis. He's filling in for Javi."
"Oh that's wassup. You ready baby?" Chris headed toward the elevator and I followed behind.
