HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO GET OVER IT AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO HELP?
Ryan and Brendon:
Ryan laughed. "Yeah, no. I'm going to take this shot." He lifted the dark bottle. Watching it pour into the small shot glass.
"Well if he's not going to answer, then I'm not answering either." He pointed to his glass. "Fill mine."
Ryan did as he was told. He held his glass up. Signaling for Brendon to push his against it. "Cheers?"
"Cheers."
The glasses clinked. They both took the shot. Ryan, closed his eyes as he drunk. Brendon watched his face.
When it was done Ryan began coughing. "Holy shit. What the fuck is in that?"
"Taste like Saturday nights at the gay bar." Brendon teased. Sliding his tongue out to lick the remains from his lip.
Josh and Tyler:
"It too me a while." He smiled in embarrassment. "I don't even know if I'm fully over you. Reminding myself why we broke up helps."
"I-uh." Tyler couldn't pretend not to be shocked by the confession. "C-Can I take a shot?" He motioned to the glass. Not waiting for an answer before the dark liquid was tilted into his cup.
Josh smiled in good humor. More so because that's what Tyler expected. Not because he thought it was funny.
"You don't want to answer?"
"This is it." Tyler paused with the shot an inch from his mouth. "This is me trying to get over you."
Pete and Patrick:
"Yikes." Pete gave the camera man a yeah right look as he filled his shot glass.
Patrick's eyes widened. "You can't be serous. That's an easy question!"
"I'm not going to answer that." He threw the drink back easily enough. The only side effect of the strong alcohol being a grimace.
"You're serious?" Patrick was smiling now. "You couldn't answer that?"
"You answer it." His voice was raspy form the burn of the liquid.
"A year I think." He didn't hesitate. "And I mean for me to stop the constant dreams about you. The sniffling to sad songs. The thinking every man with short, black hair was you. It took about a year. I can even watch our favorite movie now and keep you mostly off my mind. A lot of forced nights on the town helped." His left eyebrow arched. Waiting.
"I already took my shot." Pete smiled. "I'm not answering that."
Sarah and Meagan:
"Maybe." She bit her lip in consideration. "Like a month?"
"A month?" Sarah repeated, her eyes locking with Meagan's. "What took you so long?"
"It took a few weeks for me to get your smell out of my house." Her smile was sour.
"Oh too bad. Your house must smell like shit again." She shot back.
"Which would be a thousand times better than how you smell."
"The only thing I had to do to get over her was break up with her."
"Yeah, well I sold all the shit she left at my house. The money from selling designer things on eBay was like therapy for month of hell."
