**************

Cold wind danced in the air, making it colder than it already was. The full moon hanging in the sky glowed beautifully with clouds draping it. The sound of footsteps on the white snow kept Elektra and her friends company as they made their way to Conrad’s tower.

They had parked a few miles away from the building to avoid unwanted things to happen. Henry, Blake and Angela were with her, accompanying here for this quest.

Alfred couldn’t come with them, as he needed to meet the Elves elders and ask them for help to defeat Magnus and his clan. He informed her the name of the drug, Reahient. He also described to her how the drug looked like— a colourless liquid, which was no help at all to be honest. However, Alfred did point out that they would label them since they’re colourless. No idiot wouldn’t label their drugs.

Since she was going to Conrad’s tower, she commanded Luke to lead the army. Everything had been set up. The army were informed about the drugs and following the actual plans with a slight modification of it and they will attack when the time is right. They would be there soon, probably when they’re in the building. She knew that a few of them were already here to keep watch and inform them if there’s anything unusual and if Magnus’ army is on the move. She had given them each a telecommunication device, which was an earpiece with a microphone that were easy for the to carry around and move with it. They were ready and very much prepared. Everyone was geared up and was ready to fight.

Elektra had her sword with her, a gun placed in a holster tied on her left leg. She also had equipped herself with her new creation, the magnetic glove that attracts her sword’s grip. She would be okay, at least she hoped so.

She had left Darcy with Angela in the lair. Since it was probably the safest place they could ever hide right now, she told them to stay there until she gets back. That is–if she gets back.

She was nervous, worried and scared. She had always hated being scared. It was a feeling she wished she could get rid off but it was impossible to destroy it. Henry always told her that being scared was a part of living. Not being scared is equivalent to not living at all. Being scared doesn't make you weaker but stronger. You are stronger knowing that you are scared of something and you would do anything to prevent whatever you're afraid of from happening.

Her thoughts faltered when her feet came to a stop as she took in the huge grey building in front of her. The Conrad’s tower was big, painted in grey with tinted windows on it. Even the main entrance was tinted. She observed the building and her curiosity lead her to speak.

“Is the main entrance the only way of getting in the building?” She asked Blake who was walking next to her, suited up in body armour and armed with a few knives placed in their sheaths on his left hip and a handgun on his right.

He didn’t argue when she told him that he needed to wear a slick black body armour that her dad created with the special force a long time ago. It was a little bit big for him but it wasn’t a huge problem. The armour was made easy for the person who wore it to move around and fight. She had no doubt that he would be fine on his own but still— she just wanted him to be safe.
