"Katara and Aang should've picked me up by now!" Sokka complained sitting on the steps of the Metal Bending School
"...They're probably so caught up in their own oogieness they forgot all about me! 'Smoochie Smoochie! How I love you Katara!' 'Not as much as I love you," Sokka protested continuing "...and Iris would be all like: Ah! I'll never find love! I love Zuko but I hate him at the same time!" Sokka said dramatically.
"Ah, quit your kissy-kissy bellyaching, Appa's here!" Toph said crossing her arms, feeling the shadows of something falling on her.
Sokka looked up and he smiled widely "No, not Appa! Someone way prettier and a lot less hairy!"
The War Balloon landed in front of them and Suki came out. Sokka ran towards her and they pulled each other in a tight hug, kissing for a long moment
They were so wrapped up at the kiss that they didn't notice Iris coming flying towards them, with great velocity as if she was in hurry. She landed in front of them twisting her glider a few times and closing it.
"Uh, can I say 'Oogie'?" Toph asked sticking out her tongue in disgust from the kiss of the other two. When she noticed Iris beside her she said "I'm really glad you're here, I can't handle this oogie-osity anymore, looks like they'll be kissing for a long moment,"
Iris sighed, rolling her eyes and she walked towards the other two pulling them away from each other.
"I hate to break your sweet-lovers' reunion, but we have a real problem here," Iris said grumpily and she crossed her arms.
"Oh, sorry," Sokka said finally pulling away his arms from his girlfriend's waist.
"Good to see you two!" Suki said smiling at Toph and Iris.
"Hey, Suki," Toph said smiling back at her.
"So what's going on?" Sokka asked turning at Iris "You said in that letter you were going to check on Yu Dao,"
"I did, I found Aang and Katara..." Iris said burying her face in her hands.
Half worried, half confused, half tired from the night's rest she had to interrupt. She growled angrily "...things are so messed up!" she exclaimed and then she started explaining.
"The Earth King's Army is heading towards Yu Dao to force the Fire Nation Colonials out of the Kingdom, Zuko's Army is heading to Yu Dao to protect them. Smellerbee and the protesters must already be there, the Yu Dao Resistance is refusing to leave and Aang and I are in the middle!" She complained.
"We'll figure something out," Sokka said assuredly.
"Common, we'll need both of you," Suki said looking at Toph and Sokka.
They all got on the War Balloon and they started flying towards Yu Dao.
"Sorry to take you away from your students, Toph," Suki apologized.
"Not a problem, believe me," Toph said gratefully.
"We both needed a break from the Dark One's newfound 'talent'," Sokka said crossing his arms.
"So he's taking poetry seriously, huh?" Iris asked.
"If I have to hear about the 'cloudy teardrops oh his heart' one more time-!" Toph said exasperatedly.
"So where's Zuko's Army now?" Sokka asked.
"See for yourself," Suki said.
Sokka looked down from the War Balloon and he saw the Fire Nation Army with tanks and soldiers on Komodo-Rhinos on them, all heading towards the City.
