I love this song, it just puts me in a good mood. Let me know what you all think.
Chapter 1 | It's Called Asserting Dominance
The first day of the rest of your life.
This phrase can be used for so many situations, your wedding, graduation, the first time you watch Game of Thrones, or in this case the first day of Senior year.
This year sets up the entire rest of my life, what I do will affect my whole life. Let's just hope I don't massively screw it up -- as per usual.

"What do you mean you're not in any of my classes?" Isabella yells, ripping my schedule out of my hand.
"I got moved into AP classes, remember? I enrolled last year; I have enough high school credits so it would be pointless to just get more when I could get my college credits now. Plus I have fewer classes now." I snatch my schedule from out of her hands and shove it into my bag. "At least we have lunch together right?"
"Fine. Positive side right?"
"Right. Now, let's get to lunch." I say smiling. "I'm starved."
We walk into the lunch room and I take a look around. It's only the first day of school and everyone has already seemed to have formed their own groups, popular kids here, nerds and geeks there, etcetera, etcetera. You get the gist.
Bella and I sit down at our usual table with our friend Abigail Carideo waiting for us there.
"Hey, babes, what's up?" She cheered.
"Hey, Abby. Oh my god, you have to feel my legs. They are so soft!" Isabella says stretching out her leg for Katie to feel.
I know, I know it may seem weird but don't pretend you haven't done it before.
"Oh my god! They're so soft. I was not expecting that!" Abagail says.
"I know right, I thought the same thing!" I add in. "What did you use?"
"A good magician never reveals her secrets," Isabella says in a maniacal voice.
We continue to laugh and eat, telling stories about our summer. Bella went to Italy and France, and Abby went to a summer college program in Baltimore. I went to my bedroom, the living room and, on a good day, the kitchen. So you know, the usual. I spent the whole summer eating Nutella, watching Netflix and babysitting neighbors' kids.
"Hey, can you guys come with me? I have to get a couple things out of my locker before class but I don't want to leave you guys just yet." Bella pleads.
"Sure!" I say getting up.
Weirdly I'm in a sort of happy mood today. I've got an unusual amount of pep in my step compared to my amount. It's like someone just told me school was canceled for a week. If only it were true.
"I'll talk to you guys later, I need to grab my textbook. I'll see you later." I smile and begin my short walk down the hall. Once I reach my locker, I swiftly put the combination in.
37-27-19
As soon as it opens, I grab my books and the bell rings.
Damn, my class is on the other end of the school. I'm gonna be late!
I quickly close my locker and start racing down the hall, lots of "pardons" and "excuse me" being exchanged along the way. I finally get to the hallway my class is in when somebody steps on my foot, tripping me and causing all of my books to go flying. And just to top it off, on my way down, I bump into someone else and down they tumble too.
