Don't worry....A Kiba Inuzuka love story

chapter 2 A new friend as well as an old one

Rose's P.O.V

I groaned as i sat up: "Where am I?" Looking around i was slightly afraid at all the things attached to me. 'but at least this isn't...there. This isn't hurting me, actually i think it's numbing my pain.' After looking around some more i found a set of clothes set to the side on a chair. Just a simple grey T-shirt with some black pants.

As i moved to exit the bed i noticed i was wearing a jacket: "Who's is this? Wait, wasn't that boy..ki..ka..kiba! This is his jacket right?" I carefully took off the wires attached to me and quickly put on the clothes putting the jacket back on when i was done and climbed out the window running into the woods before some nurse alerted everybody about my absence.

Naruto's P.O.V

*sigh*: "Today is just so boring. I wish something intresting would happen." I kicked a rock, but slightly turned around when i heard a twig snap. A little girl with long dark brown hair ran straight into me knocking me over.

I sat up scratching my head: "Ow, watch where yo..." I was going to say more, but when i looked up i felt bad. The little girl was on the ground shaking. Was she scared of what's inside of me? "Why does everyone look at me like that?!" The girl flinched and tried to scoot back. "I'm not some monster!!! I am Naruto Uzumaki and i will become the hokage!! just you wait and........wait, why are you wearing kiba's jacket?"

She looked up at me: "You..know kiba? Are you one of his friends?" Her head was slightly tilted as she asked me.

Scratching my head: "Uh, yeah. You new to the village or something?"

She nodded: "Yes, I was trying to run away yesterday and got caught, but kiba saved me from having to go back to that horrid place."

: "Huh, Well i'm naruto uzumaki. What's your name?"

The girl smiled a little: "My name is Rose...don't have a last name."

I stepped closer to her and held out my hand, but she moved back: "It's ok, i won't hurt you. You're one of kiba's friends which makes you a friend of mine."

Rose hesitantly reached out and took my hand: "Really?"

Pulling her up: "Really."

Rose: "Do you know where kiba is? I should return his jacket."

Nodding: "Yeah, Just follow me."

After we had been walking for awhile, Rose asked: "Why did you yell at me?"

I blushed  scratching my cheek: "Sorry about that. It's just a lot of people still see me as a monster and not me. I get mad when i see people looking at me like you did."

Rose: "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to make you upset. I've just got a problem trusting people and i've had a rough past."

Looking at her: "So have i. You know i think were going to get along real well."

Rose smiled at me until an anbu came out of no where and grabbed her arm. I wasn't able to do anything, but watch as she her eyes widdened, clearly fightened, and screamed as she struggled in his grasp. Reaching my hand out i had tried to grab her, but they poofed away. I stood there wondering what would happen to my new friend.

Kakashi's P.O.V

Hokage: "I have a long term mission for you Kakashi."

I nodded, my hands in my pockets: "yes sir."

Hokage: "Shortly there will be a little girl brought here. I want you to take care of her."

: "For how long?"

Hokage: "Until she is old enough to take care of herself." * loud fearful screams could suddenly be heard outside the door* "Now i would like you to meet Rose."

The door opened to reveal a single anbu tightly gripping the little girl by her arm. She was struggleing to break his grasp, tears were steaming down her face.

: "Rose?" The girl looked at me, suddenly stopping in her attempt to free herself. Slowly i took my hands out of my pockets and knelt down to her level.

Rose wipped her eyes and looked at me again, the anbu had released his hold, but stood close by: "Kakashi? Is that you?"

I nodded: "It's me, it's ok now." She ran over into my outstreched arms putting her own arms around my neck.

With a raised eyebrow, the Hokage asked me "You know this girl Kakashi?"

Carefully, i picked Rose up letting her tightly hold on to me as i turned around to speak to the him: "Yes, from a mission i had a very long time ago."

Hokage: "Please explain."

: "You sent me on a mission a few years ago to examine a hide out we thought to be one of orochimaru's." At the mention of his name, rose gripped me tighter, new tears flowing. "When we got there we were abushed by a few of his men and eventually orochimaru himself. We chased them deep into the hide out and when we finally caught up to him, he was holding Rose by the back of her neck. I had tried to save her, but they sunk into the ground and disapeared. Even my nin-hounds couldn't trace him."

The hokage nodded sadly: "Though it is a sad past, she is now here and she is safe. Please take care of her, you are dismissed."

I nodded, turned and walked out of the room still carring Rose. As we were walking through the villlage Kiba called out behind us.

Rose's P.O.V

I could hear Kiba yelling at Kakashi: "Hey, Kakashi! Have you seen a little girl around here wearing my jacket."

I sat up a bit, turning around far enough to see kiba come around Kakashi's side.

Kiba: "Oh, there you are."

Kakashi let me down: "Hi kiba." I toke off the jacket handing it back to him. "Thank you for letting me use your jacket."

Kiba blushed as he took his jacket: "Ah yeah, no problem....Well, i'll see ya around." He waved at me as he ran off.

Kakashi reached down gently grabbing my hand: "Let's head home."

I nodded, letting Kakashi lead me back to his apartment. When we arrived home Kakashi made us some supper before showing me to my room and putting me to bed.

Kakashi pulled the covers over me: "I'll show you around the village tomorrow. So get some sleep."

: "Good night Kakashi." As he left the room i rolled over and fell into a peacefull sleep.
