Chapter 13 Find me and I.O.U

Kiba's P.O.V

Leaning down I looked at Rose's blood taking in it's sent.

Naruto: "Did she really just wink at us?"

Sakura: "Why on earth would she wink at us at a time like that?"

I noticed Kakashi watching me: "Maybe it was her way of signaling us, right Kiba?"

: "I think so. She wasn't bleeding that bad, but it's like she's purposely leaving a trail with her own blood."

Naruto: "Because she knows you can track her with your nose!!" I nodded. "Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!"

Kurenai's P.O.V

The door to the little shack slammed open. I noticed there were quite a few rogues missing from the group as they came in, the last one carrying a young woman under his arm.

: "Who is she?"

The rogue holding her smiled as he tossed her over, the girl gasped in pain when she hit the floor: "She's one of your comrades. So I'm sure you'll get along just fine." All of them walked back outside, deciding it better than sitting in the cramped environment.

: "Are you ok? "

The girl struggled to sit up, holding her side: "Cou..could be better." She looked at me. "Is your name Kurenai?"

I nodded: "Hai. I am sorry for not recgonizing you."

She dragged herself over to me: "My name is Rose. My team should be on their way along with yours."

: "Are you by chance the child Kakashi was put in charge of?"

Rose smiled a bit: "Yeah, he's a little rough around the edges, but he makes a pretty good dad. Now how do we get out of here?"

Frowning: "It would be much easier, if I could get out of these." I held up my hands for her to see.

Rose: "Chakra restraints?"

: "Hai, they put them on my ankles as well."

Rose: "Not taking any chances were they." I shook my head. "Let's try this, hold your hands back out."

Doing as she said, I held my hands out in front of her. She raised one hand to her mouth and lightly blew a cold frost on the chains. When she leaned back I pulled hard against the restraints making them shatter, skipping across the floor. Rose quickly repeated the process for the ones on my ankles, allowing me to freely stand again.

: "Thank you. Now although I'm free it will still take some time for my chakra to be restored."

Rose nodded: "Yeah I figured, but if you could help me stand I could probably make enough of a sence for both of our teams to pinpoint our location."

Kiba's P.O.V

Carefully pushing the branch down: "She's definitely in there. Hinata, can you see if sensei is in there too?"

Hinata: "Ha..hai." The vains by her eyes grew as she stared down at the little shack. "B..both Ro..Rose and Sen..Sensei are in th..there."

Naruto: "Good job Hinata."

I rolled my eyes as Hinata blushed: "So, What's our plan?"

Kakashi took one look at the shack and sighed: "My guess is Rose will make a scene, then all we can do is move in to attack and defend."

Naruto: "All right." Just then the shack exploded. Wood was blown away in all directions leaving Kurenai standing in the middle holding Rose up. "Way to go Rose!"

I jumped down from the tree landing in a run: "Come on akamaru! Fang over fang!" The justu let me go straight through the rouge stopping in front of my Sensei. "Hey Sensei." I spun around taking a defensive stance. "Don't worry Rose, I won't let these guys get anywhere near you."

*Time skip*

Rose's P.O.V

I sat with my back against a tree: "Ouch! Gently, Gently."

Kakashi frowned through his mask: "If I don't keep it tight, it won't stop the blood flow."

Sighing: "I know, I just wish it didn't hurt so bad." As Kakashi finished up, Kiba walked over. "So how bad did they get you?"

Kiba folded his arms: "Just a few bruised ribs. I'll be fine by the day after tomorrow." Kakashi stood up and dusted himself off before walking over to check on the rest of his team.

: "I see. Not to bad then." Looking around. "I think we're the ony one's who managed to get injured."

Kiba frowned: "How's your wound?" He pointed at the bandages peeking out from underneth my shirt.

: "It looks a lot worse than it actually is, but it still hurts."

Kiba sighed, sitting down next to me: "Look, I'm sorry for earlier." He glanced over at me. "I'm sorry about how I acted when you first showed up. Naruto filled me in on how you could have taken it."

: "You know for a Baka, he sure picks up on a lot of things."

Kiba nodded: "Yeah, he does." He reached over, gently grabbing my hand.

: "How about we say this covers one of my I.O.U's."

Kiba raised an eyebrow: "I.O.U's? For what?"

: "Well, you've saved my life twice. So we could just say when I saved akamaru I cancelled out one of the I.O.U's."

With a smirk, Kiba: "That means you still owe me one." I nodded. "Then how about this saturday I pick you up for a date? Just you and me."

I smiled: "That doesn't sound to bad." Kiba made a pouty face. "Kidding, kidding."

Kiba helped me up: "This saturday, be ready by 6 o'clock."

: "I will. Now you just have to make sure Kakashi is ok with this."

Kiba gulped, but put on a shy smile: "If that's what I got to do..."He leaned forward and placed a kiss on my forhead. "It'll be worth it."
