Chapter 4 hidden fears from a dark past

Kiba's P.O.V

Rose sounded so tired, her words almost slurring together: "Kiba? Where are we?"

: "Were at my house." Stepping into my room i set her down on my bed. "You can sleep here, i'll be on the floor if ya need anything."

Rose yawned as she rubbed her eyes: "Ok." She laid down pulling the covers up to her chin. "Thank you..."

She barely stayed awake long enough to say thanks. I smiled, shaking my head and pulled out my sleeping bag.

Hana's P.O.V

As i sat at the kitchen table drinking some tea, mom came bursting in at almost 4 in the morning.

Tsume: "Who's in our house?" She sniffed the air a few times. "And why are they in that brat's room?"

: "Calm down mom. Kakashi had Kiba watch over somebody for him today, but his mission went longer than expected. So she had to sleep here for the night."

Tsume strode right past me, up the stairs and kicked Kiba's door in. I sat at the table 'This can't end well.'

Rose's P.O.V

He was back, i couldn't move, he had me tied down again as he stood above me surrounded by so many medical tools, weird colored liquids and different neddles.

*SLAM*

I jumped up to my feet pushing myself against the wall. In Kiba's doorway stood a tall woman with rather unruley hair and she looked furious.

Kiba jumped up positioning himself in front of me: "Mom!" His mom wasn't lisening, she continued foward. "No, Stop!" His mother just shoved him aside getting closer and closer to me until i couldn't take it anymore. I willed my legs to work as i dove to the side, out of the woman's grasp, and jumped out the window making my escape into the woods.

Kiba's P.O.V

Rose had pushed herself as close to the wall as she could, tears had found their way down her face right before she dove to the side and bolted, jumping right out my window.

Tsume: "Hmpf, she is easily fightened."

Jumping back up: "What the heck mom?! Didn't Hana tell you she's had a really bad past?!"

Tsume: "Not really. She didn't have much to say about it." She turned around to walk out of my room. "You better go find her."

I was already halway out the window. 'that crazy woman. What did she think she was doing? Scaring her like that, come on.' Akamaru winned beside me as we ran.

: "I know boy, she didn't go far." We picked up our pace quickly closing in on her location.

Once we were close, we slowed our pace down carefully walking up to the side of the tree she was sitting by: "Rose?" Her head jerked up to look at me. "You ok?"

Rose's P.O.V

'It's so dark out.' I sat down against a tree hugging my legs. 'I don't even know where i am or how to get back.' Freash tears leaked out as i hugged myself tighter.

A familar voice spoke very quietly beside me: "Rose?" I jerked my head up to see kiba with Akamaru sitting on his head. "You ok?"

I shook my head wipping my eyes. Kiba sat down beside me and gently pulled my hands away from my face. He wipped away stray tears with his thumb before sitting back and placing Akamaru in my lap.

Kiba: " I don't want to upset you by asking this, but why are you always so nervous and on the edge of crying?" I hugged Akamaru close to me. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."

: "Thank you." I wipped away the last of my tears.

Kiba: "Here." He scooted closer to me and let me rest my head on his chest. We sat like that for awhile, i was just about to fall alseep when someone appeared in front of us. "Kakashi."

Very tiredly i looked up to see Kakashi standing in front of us. He knelt down: "Sorry i was so late. The mission had more to it than oringally planned."

I only nodded, yawning as he reached forward picking me up. He said thanks to kiba before jumping into the trees carring me back to our apartment, but i was long gone right after he picked me up.
