Chapter 3 Where to now

Kiba's P.O.V

Moving the flap back, i entered the Ramen shop: "Hey Naruto."

Naruto turned to look at me with a noodle still hanging out of his mouth: "Hey Kiba! How you doing?"

Sitting down, i ordered a bowl for myslef: "I'm doing good. How about you?"

A familar voice yelled from behind us: "Naruto!" I looked over in time to see Rose glomp Naruto in a hug, then look at me. "Kiba!" She glomped me in a sideways hug.

I smiled: "Hey Rose."

Naruto slurrped up the rest of his ramen: "What are you doing here?"

She let go of me to point behind her at Kakashi: "Kakashi said he'd show me around the village and since i was hungry we diceded to stop her first. By the way what are you eating?" She leaned over my shoulder to look at my food.

: "Ramen."

Rose: "What's it like?"

Naruto about fell out of his seat: "You've never had ramen?!?!"

Rose's scratched her head: "No."

I could see naruto was about to offer to get her some, but Kakashi spoke up: "Sorry, looks like we got a mission." He stepped foward putting a hand on Naruto's shoulder to drag him out of the shop. "Kiba could you watch over Rose and show her around the village for me?"

I nodded: "Sure."

Kakashi waved good bye as he dragged a complaining Naruto away. As more people entered the shop i noticed Rose become very quiet. She moved a little closer to me.

In an attempt to comfort her i placed my arm around her: "Hey old man, one order of miso ramen please." When the order came up i handed Rose a pair of chopsticks and pulled a chair over. "Try this."

Rose smiled at me: "Thank you Kiba-kun."

I blushed as i turned back to my own bowl. After we had finished, i paid for our meal and led Rose out of the shop: "Where would you like to go now?"

Rose was looking around at all the people passing by: "I..i don't know."

Reaching out i took her hand: "Here, why don't i introuce you to my team."

Rose: "O..Ok."

Rose's P.O.V

Kiba led me through the village and down a path into the wood that opened up into a wide clearing with two other people and Akamaru standing over on the edge. Once Akamaru saw me he took off running towards me. I had to let go of Kiba's hand to catch Akamaru.

: "Hi Akamaru." I held him to my chest as i scratched behind his ears.

The girl in front of us spoke up: "Wh..who is..th..this?"

kiba: "Hinata this is Rose. Rose these are my teamates Hinata and Shino."

I shyly held out a hand, which Hinata took: "Nice to meet you." Shino just nodded his head in a greeting.

We talked with each other for awhile, getting to know each other and I would say Hinata and I became very good friends.

A little later Shino actually spoke: "Hinata didn't you have to be home early today?"

Hinata quickly bowed: "I.. I'm sorry. I have to leave. it was ni..nice to meet yo..you." She hurried off out of the training feild.

Shino: "Goodbye." He turned, walking calmly away.

: "Um, what now?"

Kiba: "Uh, we could walk around the village now."

So Kiba led me around the village letting me hold onto akamaru the whole time as he introduced me to all of his friends and showed me all of the important places as well as some of the cool places.

I yawned: "It's starting to get late." looking up the sun had almost completely disapeared from the sky. "Do you think they're done with their mission yet?"

Kiba: "Don't know. We could swing by your apartment to see if Kakashi is there." I nodded and led Kiba to the apartment kakashi shared with me. He knocked a couple times and waited, then knocked again. "Doesn't look like anyone's home."

: "Well what do I do now? I don't have a key to get in with."

Kiba's P.O.V

Rose's voice started to crack. She was really nervous standing there. I don't really know why I want to stay near her or comfort her when she's scared. It's starting to really confuse me, but...

: "I don't think my mom would mind if you stayed over a night. You could have my bed and I could crash on the couch."

Rose looked up at me with a small smile: "Really?"

I had to turn my head to the side to hide the slight burning sensation on my cheeks: "Yeah." But I knew I was blushing when Rose tightly gripped me in a hug.

Later on we finally reached my house, though Rose had already completely passed out on my back. I managed to get the front door open, but as soon as I stepped inside I ran into my sister.

At least Hana spoke quietly: "What are you doing and who is this?"

: "This is Rose. Kakashi was assigned to take care of her, but he had a mission today and asked me to watch over her. we went back to their apartment, but he still wasn't home. So I dicided to let her sleep here tonight."

Hana smirked: "Fine." she stepped aside to let me pass.

: "And would you tell mom for me. Rose has some issues with her past and gets fightened easily."

Hana: "Sure, but you owe me."

I sighed, but nodded thanks turning around to carry Rose up the stairs.
