The Path To Her Heart

Chapter 5

"MOM I CANT DO THIS!" I shouted through pain, digging my fingernails into the bedsheet.

"Liv, darling, you have to push. Please Honey just push." She says as a tear runs down my cheek.

"M-Mom I cant d-do this." I release a scream. "T-Tell them t-to s-stop!"

I shout as I feel a huge pain shooting from down there till my stomach.

"Honey just few more pushes, the head is showing, Olivia. Please dont give up." She says letting her eyes get waterry.

"J-Jay." I whisper. "Mom I ca-" I try pushing more and more. "Mom, J-Jay. I n-AHHH" I shout as I stop breathing for a while after the sound of a baby crying fills the room. My head slams onto to pillow, my eyes shutting close for a second. That was the baby. My baby. I tilt my head to see my mom cutting the umbilical cord.

"Its a girl!" The nurse says laying her on my arms.

"Oh m-" I inhale loudly, crying out load. My other hand raises up touching her soft skin. "She is so beautiful. My conversation with Jay came into my mind and I let out a sob, thinking about him not being here while i'm holding his beautiful daughter in my arms. He wanted this.

"Heather." I say smiling at the way that sounds. "Heather Knight." I look at my mom as her smile drops.

"Knight?" She asks. "He is not your husband anymore, sweetheart."

"But it's his daughter mom. His blood. His flesh. I'm holding her in my arms cause of him, Mom. She is his daughter." I sob as I touch her.

"Heather Knight."

It was Heather's fist day of school and i'n pretty sure, by th look on her face, it seems  like she was scared.

"Heather, come give mommy a hug before going. She runs to me, hugs me as tight as possible, not letting go.

"Mommy wants you to be a good girl okay? Mommy will be here after school ends okay?" I ask.

She nods. "Mommy, I dont want school."

"Come on baby, its not that bad, you just to come back home and tell Mommy everything that happened in school."

She nods again, kissing my cheek. "Bye Mommy." She says and I wave.

"Thats all?" I ask the young couple in front of me.

The boy takes a second glance at the girl, shooting her a questioning look. She gives him a reassuring smile and he looks at me.

"No we're good. Thank you." He says with a smile. I smile back sending the paper to the kitchen.

I wait for the meals while talking to Maya as she made to drinks. I serve their meals to them noticing them having a conversation. I suddenly feel a buzz on my upper thigh coming through my jeans. I get my phone and see Kai's caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Liv! It's me Kai. Look. Ally's in the hospital. I'm on my way from the airport and i've told her mom about it. She's gone into labour." He says urgently. It's so clear he is freaking out. "Liv, I need you to go there just to be there. I'll be there in 15 minutes but your restaurant is closer to the hospital so please Liv."
