I take a while to digest the fact that the person who accused me of something I dont even know about and threw me out of the house.

Jason Knight was infront of me.

I sucked in a breath as the memories start flowing in my head and I bite back tears that are threatening to fall out. I force a small smile and my eyes lose contact with his as I look down.

"H-How may I h-help you t-today?

"I'll have the fruit salad and warm water." She smiled at me. I nodded and forced another smile as I turn to face Jay-Jason.

"And. A-And for you, s-sir?" I stutter and I noticed he stiffens when I call him that.

"Actually I'll just have the same meal as my girlfriend except i want a different drink. What drinks do you guys have?" He emphasizes the word girlfriend and rests his hand on top of hers. It felt as if a thousand knives stabbing me over and over again.

"Liv, you are divorced now. Dont be surprised if you get the news of him being with another woman. Whatever the reason for your divorce is, he is now allowed to move on. So are you."
My mom's words replay in my head.

"We have cold beverages, fresh juices like lemonade, apple juice, mango, and so on." I tell him trying my best not to stutter.

"I'll have the Lemonade then."

"Okay, Anything else?" I ask with a forced smile since the woman seems really nice.

"Nope, we're good for now. Thank you," She reads my name tag. "Olivia."
She smiles pushing a few strands of her thick dark blonde hair behind her ear then facing Jason. I take this as a oppourtunity to walk as fast as I can to the kitchen giving them the orders and rushing to the back door. I let the tears rush down my cheeks and my soft sobs fill the open storeroom of the place.

His words refresh my mind. The way he called that lady his girlfriend hurts me. I have no clue why he left me but when he told me he'd love me till the end, I thought there was a meaning to it. I miss him in every step I take in life. But he has moved on. He looks happy, I'm not gonna even try to get him back. I wipe my face that was soaked with tears and run to the bathroom.

I see my reflection and my nose is red my eyes slightly swollen. Mascara stains on my cheeks. I splash the water on my face removing as much makeup as possible which wasn't that hard cause i wear nothing but mascara and lipgloss. I push my curly strawberry blonde hair into a ponytail. Straighten out my apron and I walk out of the restroom. As soon as I hear a bell, I go collect the salads and walk to their table.

Jason's eyes never leave my sight. He is staring at me. And his eyes showed something, I was always the one to understand what his eyes were saying. His gaze shifted from me to the food that I just served.

"I'm going to go get your drinks." I mumble softly. I walk fastly to get the drinks and serve it to them and walk to the counter to type in their orders for the bill.

"Hey Liv, i'll take care of their bill if you want me to. You shouldn't be going home any later than this." Max, one of the waiters and a good friend of mine offers.

"Thank you so much Max, you have no idea how thankful I am right now." I thank him and he smiles.

"Good Night Liv." He says as I hang my apron in the hooks next to the counter. "Good Night Max." I shoot one glance at Jason and take a breath. He looks at me before eyeing me. I wasn't wearing anything that revealing. My uniform was just a black collar shirt and shorts which thankfully covered my ass. I chose not to stand there watching my ex husband be with another woman and I walk out.

I called a cab to get me back home. After paying the driver, I go to our apartment, knocking the door twice. The door opens to Maya who is dressed in sweats.

"Took you long enough." Maya huffed.
"You dont look so well. Everything okay?"

"Something happened." I sit on the dining table. "Has Drew gone to pick her up?" She nods.

"I'll you guys about what happened when I feel like it. Tomorrow is Saturday so we have the weekend to ourselves. I'm going to get refreshed.  I might fall asleep so wake me up when she is here okay?" I tell her.

"Okay."  She knows somethings up.

I go to my room and strip out off my clothes and throw on one of Drew's shirts and my comfy shorts. I go to the bathroom to wash my face and after leaving my hair loose, I jump into bed, turning to my side table and place my phone after being plugged in on tge table next to the frame. The frame had my wedding picture. The picture was captured when we kissed me. Even if he was forced to marry me, when he kissed me that day, I knew he did it willingly.

I wipe of the tear that rolled down my cheeks and I made myself comfortable on my soft bed and thought about Jay. My Jay saying the four words I can only dream to hear again.

I love you, Livy

I slowly drift off into deep slumber.
