I reach the house at 9a.m or so to find none of them downstairs."Maya, Drew, Are you guys coming or am I leaving without you guys?"

"BABE, THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED PATIENCE YOU KNOW?" Maya shouts while rushing down the stairs.

"Well then I sure as hell dont have it." I say.

"ANDREW, YOU KNOW WE ARE THE GIRLS IN THE DAMN HOUSE, WE ARE DOWN BEFORE YOU." Maya shouts.

"Well, thats what happens when you live in a household with a guy who proudly calls himself gay." Drew says calmly walking down the steps."What? My hair needed to look good, I mean like what if the guys today are too hot."

I roll my eyes and walk with them to the car. I get into the driver's seat at start the engine before driving to the bar.

Drew and Maya are the greatest friends I could ever ask for. I met them when I came to Seattle and got a job in a restaurant's bar. Maya was one of their best bartenders and Drew normally cleaned. I got the job as a waitress.

I'm thankful for them. When I was staying with my mom, she'd always tell me of how she regretted getting me married to Jay. She kept asking me questions about my broken marriage that would kill me. I was there for one year or so. My mom was there for me when I needed someone. But she'd remind me of how painful it was to have the love of my life throw me out of the house.

I think about Jay. Everyday of my life. But I think about how happy it was to be with him. I get reminded of him everyday by people around me. I just wish that I knew why he didnt want me anymore.

Drew and Maya became a great part of my life and showed me how to cherish the memories me and Jay shared. The way he'd get mad at anyone who calls him Jay except me. The way he'd kiss me gently as the first things he does every morning and the last thing he does before falling asleep. The way he'd cuddle up with me to watch Titanic or The Notebook for the hundredth time if he knows that he has done something to upset me. Telling me how he is gonna love me and protect me till the day he dies. The four magical words that made me feel like my life was complete.

I love you, Livy.

I feel tears well up my eyes when I reach the bar. I quickly make sure my eyes are not watery and grab my purse.

"Before we go out, CAN ANY OF YOU EXPLAIN WHY THE BLOODY HELL THAT RIDE WAS FULL OF AWKWARD SILENCE?" Maya shouts.

"I dont feel quite well guys. I've been having a terrible headache from the morning." I exit the car after that.

I go straight the the counter and bump into Hailey. "Hailey." I smile. "Sorry, I wasn't feeling well so we're late. But-" She cuts me off with replying rudely.

"Your tables for today is written in the board. And you need to do one of my costumers cause I covered up one of your costumers."

"Alright. Just inform me which table you want me to do." I smiled as she walked away.

She is a grade A bitch. Like seriouly, does it hurt for her to smile?

The day goes on and its almost 8 in the evening which means our shift is nearly done. As all the waiters, waitresses and others start leaving the place, I remember that I still need to cover up one costumer for Hailey. Speaking about Hailey, she walks up to me with her jacket on and bag hanging on her shoulders as she puts her phone in.

"Hailey, can I do it tomorrow? I need to-"

"Table 16, Olivia. My job for today is done."

Oh Shit. I forgot I was talking to a bitch.

"Fine." I save my pride by not begging her to let me go.

I wait for a costumer table 16 but nobody shows up. Since its been about 15 minutes or so I decide to tell Maya and Drew to pick her up and go home. So I find both of them and tell them that i'll just catch a cab or something.

"Thanka guys." I thank them as I hear someone call me.

"Liv! Table 16, Hurry up!"

"See you at home guys." I tell them.
"Also,.. tell her I wont take that long." I smile as I rush off to the table to see a guy in a suit and a beautiful lady in a formal dress. They are looking at their menus' and in the meantime, I take out my notepad and pen from my pocket.

Something about that dark brown hair of the guy, I cant seem to say. I cant seem to see his face clearly tho. I step infront off the table putting on my best smile. "Hey sir, ma'am, I'm Liv, how-" As my name comes out my mouth, The guy's head snaps to look at me.

A breath gets stuck in my throat. My eyes meet his black rimmed blue eyes. The same pair of eyes that broke me five years ago. The eyes I never thought i'd ever see again. The eyes that belonged to the person I loved. The person I still love.

Jason Knight.
