I slowly open my eyes and noticed an arm over my stomach and a pair of legs looped around my waist. I smile to myself and turn around wrapping my arms around the back of that speacial person.

As her eyes slowly opens up to reveal beautiful black-rimmed blue eyes, a smile starts spreading on her face. "Good Morning, Mommy." My 4 year old greets.

"Good Morning , Sweetheart." I place a kiss on her cheek. My bundle of joy. Thats what I refer to her as. "How was your stay in Grams' place?"

"Good Mommy. I miss you."

"I missed you too, baby." I found out I was pregnant the same day Jay kicked me out. I was gonna tell him but he threw me out before I said a word. I was so afraid to go tell him. He'd say that I was putting up an act to stay in the house.I was too selfish when everyone said Jay has the right to know. I wanted to be not only a mom but a dad to her. I knew how hurt Jay would be if he found out I kept this from him. He has always wanted a family. But i'm afraid not with me. He doesn't love me anymore.

His words still sting. Everyday. Heather is the 4-year old daughter of Jay and I. I love her with all of me. She is one of my biggest motivations. I am thankful that Jay gave me her but I cannot stand anyone taking her from me. She is too young to experience the life of having divorced parents.

Pushing all the negative thoughts aside, I look my princess with strawberry blonde hair and black-rimmed blue eyes. Those eyes came from Jay. She reminds me of how I used to look at Jay. "Mommy?" I look down to my baby's head rested on my chest. "I love you."

I kissed her hair. "I love you too baby."
I smile. "Let's go get you freshened up." I carry her as she laughs.

I dress her up in a purple shirt and leggings. I take some of her hair and twist it, securing it with a purple bow.

I wear my black leggings and pair it off with my white shirt and my beige cardigan. Grab my handbag and slip on my flats.

"Baby, you wanna go watch a movie then get ice cream?" I ask and she nods smiling widely.

"Okay. Time for some mommy and Heather time today. Let's go." We hear a knock on the door to see Drew. "Hey Liv, Maya is calling you. She says we need to talk." I smile at him at walk to the living room with Heather to see Maya on the couch and Drew joins her.

"What's up?" I smile at them.

"Liv, we need to know why you were upset yesterday." She says.

"Okay, I'm going out with Heather." I look at my watch that shows that the time is half past 11. "Maya, Drew. I'll be back at around 4 and then we will talk about this. I promise i'll tell yall when I come back okay? Love you guys." I grab my car keys.
