The world around me swam in and out of consciousness. I couldn't focus on one thing. I was in darkness. Trapped in my own head. I tried to reach out and open my eyes but that seemed so far away to reach. I was in and out of conscious. Before I could open my eyes I was pulled back under the darkness.

"Sean."
That voice sound so familiar. It was like an angel speaking to me from heaven. I tried to grasp the voice but I couldn't, so instead I just listened.
"Sean I know you can hear me. But you can't talk back. That's what I hate about this. Anyway, I just thought you'd like to hear my voice once."
She paused for a moment.
"Sean sometimes I think and wonder to myself if I'm ever right for you. Am I good enough for you? Could you have chosen better? I don't know. It's just that you say that you love me but I don't know if you mean it."
Silence.
"I just wonder if you could do so much better without me. You wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for me. We probably should have never met. But I feel that we're here for a reason. All I know is that I love you. More than anything. I love you. And I hope one day you can love me the way I love you, all the way."
I was pulled under the darkness with her voice in my soul.
The darkness tried to bring light to me but I pushed it away. I wanted to think. I wanted to know why she thought that I didn't love her. She meant the world to me. From the moment I saw her I knew she was special. All this that we've been through so far is because of me. None of this is her fault. I'm the one who fell in love first. I wanted to show her that I meant it. I wanted to tell her that my love for her isn't worthless. But I still couldn't reach her. I just wish she would come back. I want to feel her, I want to feel the curve of her neck, I want to feel her body in mine twined together as one. I wanted her always and in every way possible. But I have to get out of this darkness first.
"Come on Sean. I'm here. Wake up," the angel said.
I was starting to come to my senses. I tried to pry my eyes open several times before I succeeded.
I looked up to find three faces looking down at me. They all looked concerned.
"I know I'm beautiful but you guys don't have to stare. Pictures last longer," my voice sounded unfamiliar.
"Damn boy, we thought you were dead," Jack said.
The rest of them let out sighs of relief.
"How are you feeling?" asked Nathan.
"I'm alive and I feel like crap," until now he hadn't realized that his whole body ached and hurt. But there was a greater pain he was dealing with right now. "Where is she?"
"She's in her room. She won't come out. We've tried to talk to her but she won't let us in her room," Shelby answered.
It finally hit me, they didn't know Alexia was possessed by a demon.
"I need my dad," I said.
Shelby nodded and went out the door. Sean looked around and noticed he was in his room back at the institute. The window showed it was dark outside.
"How long have I been out?" I asked still staring out.
"Three days," answered Jack. No wonder the weird looks.
"Oh," was all I said.
We stayed quiet until my father came busting through the door.
"Sean oh thank God you're okay," he came in looking all fired up.
