"What are you doing here?" I asked cautiously.

"Hello son it's nice to see you too," she was dressed in Shadowhunter gear which is something I've never seen her wear.

"Don't even try. I'm still pissed for what you did to me and dad. I don't think it's something we can forgive,"

"I don't care if your father forgives me. I don't need him. Who I need is you Sean. Why don't you join me and Valentine. We could use your gifts. With you we'd be unstoppable."

"Mom you are out of your mind if you think I'm going to join either you or Valentine. But I do want to ask you something though. Have you heard from Jessica? Is she doing okay under Valentines' grasp?" I asked nicely and with sarcasm.

"Jessica? Sean who are you talking about," she was tense.

"My sister Jessica of course. The one you gave to Valentine for him to experiment on. The one you abandoned. Now do you know who I'm talking about?" I looked at her casually.

"How did you find out about her?" she asked with wide eyes.

"She told me herself. She has amazing abilities you know. She told me but don't worry about how. The most important question is, how could you not tell me this?"

"It's not like wasn't going to tell you-"

"No mom you weren't going to tell me and you know it! You are unbelievable. I'm disgusted by you mom. And let me guess, you were eventually going to tell me that Valentine had put angles' blood in me when you were pregnant with me." I almost yelled. I was so damn mad.

"You found out about that too!" she almost yelled.

"Oh mother I found out about a lot of things." I said sarcastically.

She was breathing heavily.

I stepped closer to her until we were face to face.

"If you don't need my fathers forgiveness then that means you don't need mine either. If you don't care about dad then you much less give a crap about me. I don't need you, mother" I spat the last word.

I turned and walked away. The moon was up in the middle I the sky. Midnight.

"Just know Sean, you have many enemies. And you just added one to the list."

I kept walking.

"Next time you see Stephan ask him where Alexia's sister is. She was with you guys for a short while until she turned against you just like you predicted son."

I turned ready to yell at her but she wasn't there.

My mother had disappeared into thin air.
