30~ the Marvelous Mall

"50% off everything?" the man asked.

"No...50% off Everything!" Kiara Krag cried.

"That's insane," Carman said.

"Daddy even said I could go over my spending limit today. Do you know how much i could buy with this card?" she pulled out a shining platinum debit card and showed it to the group.

"You should be able to spend at least 50,000 with that. The bank may call if you try to go past that in one day," Kyle answered simply. It was only natural that the richest teenager on the island would have the answer for that instantly.

The group of six walked through the wide electronic doors of the new Pearl City mega mall. A huge singular complex of buildings covering over a dozen acres and five floors. It's grand opening was the day before, but the crowd was still impressive. This grand construction was possibly the biggest financial investment on the entire western side of America this year. Hundreds of stores, dozens of places to eat, and millions of dollars' worth of products.

As they entered the air-conditioned main building, it was like stepping into a cool pristine new world. A shopping and socializing paradise.

"I believe I have a responsibility to contribute to the economy now on behalf of my family name..." Kyle said wistfully staring at the open-centered levels that kept each floor visible to the ones below. Walkways crisscrossed the expanse on each level and escalators rose and fell like mechanical veins. People milled about with huge shopping bags and lines extended along food courts.

"We should split up to cover more ground," Kion Krag grinned at his older brothers. "We can cover more ground if we do. Me and Kiara have our own coupons and Kyle probably doesn't need one anyway, so let's split into three groups."

He rarely got a chance to spend time with both of his older brothers and he wanted to stand taller with them around.

"Not a bad idea, but we'll split into two groups instead. The girls will take care of their shopping while you two will help me hunt down the food place with the shortest line," Carman gestured to his brothers. They both nodded, recognizing the chain of command.

"Wait, what about me?" Kyle asked.

"I just said you'd help take care of shopping," Carman winked and started walking away with Kion close behind.

Ryan smirked and Kiara giggled softly while the burn sunk in.

Ryan kissed Arden on the cheek quickly and said, "take care of my girls for me. That one has a mischievous side," he gestured to Kyle and followed his brothers.
