Everyone was in the middle of the celebration. Eating, drinking, and surprisingly, no actual fighting...yet.

It might have been a celebration for Lucy and Natsu, but Lucy couldn't get what happened early out of her head. She knew that something was wrong and her thoughts just brought everything back to it. She felt uncomfortable about the interaction.

"Congrats.." Lucy looked up at the person who said it. "Thanks? Laxus.." She said.

"You didn't let me finished." He said as he sat down next to her, "Congrats on breaking my friend. In all the years that I've known him... I've never seen him like that." She started to imagine Laxus comforting Freed, she shook her thoughts out immediately.

That wasn't making her feel any better. She sighed, " I've never seen him like that either..."

"But?..." Laxus added. "There isn't any." After she said that, Laxus looked at her. "Then why?" He asked. She looked at him to continue. He rolled his eyes, "Then why are you still here?"

Lucy looked at him, then looked down. " I-I was gonna go after Freed but Natsu stopped me."

"So..." Laxus said. Lucy's head shot up.

"So what?" She asked.

"So why don't you go after him now?" He said.

"Well, I thought of that," looking at the door, "but I don't know where he goes."

"Fair point...." Laxus thought for a minute, "Blondie. Go home."

She looked at him like he was crazy. "What?"

"If you want to find Freed, just, go home." Laxus said.

She looked at him still thinking he was crazy but it was worth a shot. "O-okay." She got up but turned around for a second, "By the way, it's Lucy." She then headed home.
