The Day Has Come

All throughout the evening, she wrote her feelings out.

Starting that she had been thankful the day she met him.

He helped her from a spell and a hellish future from all the different people who tried to take her, but she also knew that he would do it for anyone. He may seem to go overboard, forget about his surroundings, but they all knew he had the power to get the job completed. She always found herself in embarrassing situations with Natsu and able to laugh about it on different adventures. She loved to boss him and play around when she was drunk even when he found it tiring.

Even though she loved the time she spent with him, she internally felt crazy, hurt, impacted, and wondering how long she could keep this up. There were moments when she had the right to feel upset at him, but even the smallest material can make her go mad now.

She had to take a step back. The amount of girl time she had made her realized this. She felt wonderful having a break, denying boys that tried to talk to her. She was powerful and could take care of herself.

She may have seem desperate, but she also wouldn't let any guy have her, she had to feel the connection.

Now all she had to do is convey her feelings to Natsu.

Dear Natsu...

I know that a lot has happened during the time we started to be together. At the start, we thought it would be fun and the right decision to make us a stronger team. We both were nervous, but the more we progress, the harder it actually gets.... I feel like you should understand this. As times get harder, we start to shift off more. I'm sorry I couldn't really talk it out as for my nervousness and honesty that I have loved you with all my heart. I feel like we need time apart, and to discuss how our relationship should be from now on. I'm sorry if I'm gone or emotionally broken. She had done it, she wrote down how she felt. Just in time too, she drifted off to sleep, minutes after completing the letter.

Light started to glisten from her window. It was show time. She slowly got herself ready. Grabbed the letter, walked out with confidence. She decided that as she drops off the letter, she would also go get a job.
She walks into the guild, it was too early that no one was really there. It felt strange seeing so little Fairy Tail members. She headed towards the jobs, picked a safety escort since the destination was to the castle. She still had to give a thank you gift for the estate. She then heads to Mira.

"Hey Lucy, you're going on a solo trip?" 
"Indeed I am Mira, it seems like a simple one to do and actually helps me complete some business I have."
Mira looks closer at the job and smiles. "Tell her and the King that I say hi"
"Will do Mira", Lucy responded.
Mira approves the job and was about to turn around.
"Wait," Mira turns at the sound of Lucy's voice, "can you give this to Natsu when he comes?" Mira looks at her.
"Okay." Lucy motioned a thank you and left.

It may have not been the best decision, but that's what happened. Lucy went home to pack her bags and hopped on a train to met the client. When she boarded, Natsu entered the Guild.
