"Brooke!"
I heard someone shout my name behind me and turned around in the crowded hallway. Searching the heaps of students rushing about, my eyes settled on the tall guy emerging from the crowd. He had dirty blonde hair and glasses shielding his eyes.
"Hey Nathaniel." I smiled at him. He was in my history and advanced Biology class. Nathaniel was almost as tall as Matt, and he was, I admitted, incredibly cute. Not hot like Cole was, but cute nonetheless, with light blue eyes and a pretty facial structure.
You need to stop thinking about Cole so much. Its unhealthy.
He smiled back shyly. "Listen, I wanted to ask you a big favour. If its okay with you, could you please clear up some doubt's I had in AP Bio?"
Seeing the confused look on my face (I knew he was smart, so why he would need lessons was beyond me), Nathaniel rushed on. "I mean, I just shifted to this class and no one aces it like you do."
I blushed lightly at his words and rolled my eyes. "Nothing like that. But yeah, sure, um come over today?"
"That's perfect, how about 6pm?"
"Cool. See you then." I smiled and confirmed before he grinned adorably and walked away.
I turned around and walked to my next class, maths, which I hate and always will. I mean, I did well in the class but I didn't necessarily like it.
Moving my eyes forward, my eyes roamed the people surrounding me and stopped on a group of boys.
Liam, who was always shy but never around his friends, was standing next to Reece, Nate and Jack, all of whom were facing the people leaning on the lockers. Matt was on one side, Cole in the middle and James, looking blank and emotionless as always, was talking to Amanda. I knew from what she told me that they both were close now, and actually did talk to each other quite a lot.
Jack, Liam, Reece and Cole seemed to be in a serious conversation. I couldn't see Cole quite well, but Jack and Liam's faces were serious and concentrated. Matt was talking to Nate and the two of them were joking around.
I could actually see all the girls in the hallway staring at the boys. Not far away, a group of jocks were walking as well - but their eyes seemed focused on the hot men near the lockers, all of whom were tall and muscly, especially Matt and Cole.
I walked forward slowly and my eyes suddenly clashed with Cole's.
I could see his face now as he stared at me with narrowed eyes, as if he had been doing so for quite some time. Cole's jaw clenched as he kept staring at me, his eyes going darker, briefly glancing behind me in the direction Nathaniel had walked off to.
At the sight of those dark eyes and the biceps that flexed as he crossed his arms under his chest, my mind immediately went to the previous night and I blushed and looked away, a foreign feeling tugging at my stomach.
Quickly, I walked off to math.
A few minutes after I had settled down, both Amanda and April walked in and plopped down on either side. As soon as they had done so, Amanda leaned forward and looked at me with accusing eyes. Amanda was a gorgeous girl, with the perfect height and beautiful curves. Her hazel eyes glared down at me right now, bringing me out of thoughts of how I looked like a toad in front of my best friends.
"Why didn't you tell us you went on a date with Cole yesterday and why did I hear this from James?" she accused, eyes narrowing.
Before she even finished, April let out a scandalised gasp from beside me and dug her talons into my shoulder and turned me around. I winced at the pain.
