Dawn's POV
That didn't go as expected... but I got a kiss. Soon, he'll be all over me again. My phone starts to ring with my Dua Lipa ringtone, and I grab it. "Hello?" I say. "Hey Dawn. What's going on?" I roll my eyes. "I told you not to call me right now." She laughs. "You said not to call you 'right now' half an hour ago."
"Yeah, yeah." As I listen to her talk about her sister and stuff, I start to apply pink eyeshadow to one of my lids. "And it was so annoying, because it turned out they had already left!" She says. I nod, even though she can't see me. I continue to apply makeup. She tells me about a house while I put on pink lipstick. "Dawn, are you listening?!" She jokes. "Yes. You can keep going." "No you're not, you're thinking about Alec." I sigh. "You know he doesn't really mean anything to me, right? You yourself asked me to do this."Everyone thinks, I want Alec because I'm in love with him. Okay, he's hot and a good kisser. I don't give two sh*ts. I don't need a man to make my life sweet, I live in a white mansion, am dating two boys, but don't tell either of them that, and I don't have to be employed because I 'inherited' my parents' wealth. Sorry, inside joke between my friend and I. "True. But if you like him, let me know." She replies. "I'm good. I have to go now, I'll talk to you later." I say, finishing my mascara. "Bye, Dawn." I smirk. "Bye Maura."
