Alright, so... V3 comes out tomorrow. Or today... depending on the time zone. And honestly? I'm already dying inside.

Seriously. I may need an ambulance in the next few minutes?

I'm not exactly sure what prompted me to post this chapter, but I'm pretty sure the raging DanganRonpa urge inside of me is responsible. I feel like I haven't screamed about V3 enough since I've been back, and I need to change that.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY OTHER THAN I'M TRYING NOT TO BURST INTO TEARS FROM THE HYPE I'M EXPERIENCING. AS I'M TYPING THIS, I'M SHAKING. H E L P.

As I've stated previously, I know nearly nothing about the game. I've had about two major spoilers, and I'm still upset about those. But, knowing DR, there will be a LOT of twists and things, so I'm not too concerned about the spoilers.

I've REALLY wanted to post predictions/expectations about V3 ever since I learned about the game 22 months ago. (Yes, I did the math today, and it has been TWENTY TWO months. Where has my life gone...?) I know it's a little late, but since when have I ever cared that?

Okay, predictions/thoughts! Uhhhhhh HERE

- I'd really like to see a group execution! Judging from previous games, the odds of seeing the group wrongly guess the killer are pretty low. You never know, though! It's an element that has never been touched upon that much, and could be pretty interesting. Of course, in saying that, that means EVERYONE will die... and I'm not too sure I'd be okay with that? Maybe some people escape death? Maybe it stops mid-execution? Maybe there's a loophole presented at the last second? I don't know how it would play out, but I still think it would be awesome to see a mass execution.

- I barely know the characters, but as of RIGHT NOW based off of what I know, I think my favorites are Kaede and Kiibo. It's very likely that will change, however.

- I don't think I'm a big fan of the 'Monokumas'. They seem like a failed attempt at trying to add new flair to Monokuma or whatever. Sure, having only one Monokuma may make for lame gameplay, but seriously? FIVE(?) mini Monokumas? It seems sort of weird to me. Different variations of Monokuma were already presented in Monomi, Shirokuma, and Kurokuma. I was hoping the creators would be a bit more original than that.

- I'm 99% sure there's a jail-like theme. It seems to me that everyone involved in the killing game is being held captive for certain reasons. (I may happen to know one reason: Kaito is imprisoned because he took the official astronaut test while he was underage, thus breaking the law. I think?) I'm very curious to see what caused individual characters to be put in this situation. The jail theme is the VERY basics of what I know regarding the plot, though.

- If Junko is used as the main villain again, I WILL RIOT. I'm begging, please, be more original than reusing Junko.  We need something NEW. If some bullshit comes up like, "Woah, check it out, it's AI Junko 2.0!" or "Wow, Junko's a GHOST now!" or "Watch out, it's ROBO-JUNKO!", I might throw my Vita across my room. Her being used as the main villain for everything is getting exhausting. She can be referenced in the game, absolutely, but things can't revolve around her. A brand-new villainous character would be great to see!

- The above goes for Monaca, too. Maybe. An adult Monaca would be interesting, but she would have to be made into a very compelling/complex character for me to be satisfied with her return.

- The game will likely take place long into the future. I'm guessing that it's way after the end of Future Arc of DR3. That way, the whole 'Hope's Peak Academy' thing is over. Of course, it will need to be brought back in some way, but I don't think it will be used as a functioning school anymore. Unless it's Hope's Peak Academy Two or something.

- I want to see variations of murder circumstances. More easily said: I want NEW things. For example, a double-murder case where there's two different killers. There should be things that have never been done before, but are still within the realm of possibility for DR. Like a true manslaughter (not a set up like what that bitch Komaeda did to Chiaki--), a murder-suicide, a mass execution (stated previously), etc.

- Give me a ship that survives, PLEASE! I'm tired of literally all of my ships being wrecked through death. My heart can't take it anymore. Please... don't make me suffer anymore... ONE surviving ship...

- Similarly, GIVE ME A CANON SHIP! One. Canon. Ship. That's all I'm asking for.

- This one is very likely, but I want references to previous games. DR is normally pretty good about references, easter eggs, and whatnot, but I'm really hoping to see things of that sort. Even more...

- MY CHILDREN NEED TO APPEAR AGAIN. I don't care how. Just let old characters reappear somehow, and I'll be happy.

...I thought I had more than that. I'll probably think of them later... oh, well.

There were a lot more things I wanted to talk about, but I guess I'll have to save them for when V3 actually comes out! I'm SO excited for this game, words can't even describe it. Throughout the past week, I've replayed the DR1 and SDR2 in preparation. I started DR:AE and was hoping to finish it tonight, but then I decided to stop. (As soon as I got to the bridge in Chapter One, I was like, "Fuck it, I'm not doing this. Not tonight.") I didn't have time to re-watch the DR3 anime, either.

I've been away from the DR fandom for a long time in order to avoid spoilers. This has been SO hard for me, since I've refused to do anything involving DR lately. I'm so happy to dive straight back into the fandom again.

Damn me, for forgetting all of the others things I wanted to say.
